Was it filed with the IRS? If so, you can get a copy from them for $39, or a transcript at no cost.

If it wasn't filed, then you have to start over and have it done again if you can't track down some H&R office that has it.

When was your last return done at H&R Block? If you cannot find the office, call the corporate headquarters and they can track down which office has your return.

If the return was done in the last 3 years, they should have a full copy of your return. If it is older than that, they may still have a copy but they are not required to keep a copy of your return indefinitely.

H&R Blocks records are kept not only in the office but in their district office also. That address should be on your tax return as the Year Round Office. If not you can call any office in your phone book or go to their web site to get a phone number. I promise they have not lost your return.

H & R block keeps clients tax records on file for a few years by way of computer. You can go to any location and they should be able to look it up, by your social security number or name and date of birth. Go there and have them copy on paper your tax records, they may charge you a few dollars.
I believe part of their tax preperation service fee includes storing of your tax records on their computers incase of lost.
As they file electronically and they need to keep a copy incase the IRS audits you

Their records are computerized, so any H&R Block should be able to retrieve it for you. Hint: ALWAYS keep a copy of your returns.
