Goodness - as much or as little as you like.
Generally if you have a car you pay:
- Insurance
- Possibly a car payment
- Registration every year
- Oil changes
- Gas
- Repairs
- Tires (and they aren't cheap)
If you have a home, you pay:
- Insurance
- Usually a mortgage payment
- Taxes
- Electricity
- Heating bills
- Repair costs
- Services (depending on where you are) like water, garbage collection, plowing (if north)
- Furniture
- Other stuff for the house (air conditioners)
- Appliances
- Household stuff, from paper towels to laundry detergent
- Clothes
- Shampoo
And then there's all kinds of other things...
- Maybe health insurance, if not covered by your employer
- Dental bills, eye exams, etc. Glasses
- Subscriptions, cable TV, Internet access
And if you have kids...
- Gifts
- Education
- Food
- I can't even list the rest - it's too long.

Also:
Food
Entertainment (movies, Dining, etc)
Look around at all of the things your parents have; little, if any, was free.
Ask them to share your family budget with you. Hopefully, they have a budget. If they do, it will be eyes widening experience for you. If they don't, now would be a great time for them to get one started. You can help them outline all of their income vs. expenses.

Go to college. Get educated. Or marry rich...so that you have lots of money, you will need it. You will need more money that you can presently imagine. And if you think that money won't make you happy, think again. Money will bring you every worldly thing that you ever want, or dreamed of. Without money, you will bee poor, miserable and die never having attained the things you deserve to have. Who was it once said "Money can't bring happiness?"--Well, they were wrong. Don't find out the hard way. And you'll do just great!.. Best of luck...get rich...stay happy...
