Me and my fiance wants to buy a home in the $300,00's or so and I was thinking about buying a nice presentable home and just adding to it. Will it be cheaper than just building a house from scratch? I might want to add extra bedrooms or an office or exercise room or something like that. Would that be cheaper or should I just build a home with everything included? I am looking to move to Ocala or stay more in the central area in florida. What do you suggest? Thank you

i have a resume made recently , and i was inclined on the fact that I must write a cover letter no matter what the case.

Yesterday during the thanksgiving party I was talking to my cousins who works at the same position i want to work.. it seems they didn't give much importance for cover letters at all. I don't understand how that's possible..

he said he don't remember what he wrote in his cover letter for the job where he's currently working in . and my other cousin said he didn't write a cover letter.

Now I am confused

what do you think I should do?

I have a credit card that has been closed because of me not paying. IT HAS NOT BEEN SENT TO A COLLETIONS AGENCY. They gave me a payment plan to pay off the balance of $1122. I am paying about $60 a month, which is more then the minimum.


Could I request to use this card again? Or if they could open it since I am paying the entire balance and finance charges?!

My nephew left a room near Cardiff University after 2 weeks. The landlord now says that he has to keep payng £240.00 a month until next June (2008) even though he is not there. Has anyone else experienced this. Is this normal or is it a con? Anyone else suffered this?

I was recently on medical leave,but before I left my employment status was wrong.I was actually eligible for insurance in July,so they started taking out medical insurance from my check to cover all the way back to July.Now they took my whole paycheck 620.50 to cover when i was off and some back pay insurance that I owed. I just got laid off from my job and I'm trying to figure out what to do with my life now.
I have my Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences, but it doesn't get me much because it's just an undergrad.
I would like to get into a profession that helps people, but I have no idea what to do (without having to go back to university). I was looking at being an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, but realized that they don't make very good money (it's more of a part-time job).
Does anyone have any ideas of careers that are out there that allow me to help people?? (that maybe aren't really heard of...)
I know it's kind of a general question, but I'm really at a loss here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated -- serious replies only please.

Long story short, we sold our house and decided not to move, new owner was going to use it as a rental so we decided to rent it back foor a while (cheaper than a mortgage!) anyhoo, we signed a 1 year lease agreement and gave a $1000 security deposit which I think was for is we moved before our contract was up. We've been here 2 years and our contract expired and our landlord was so relaxed about us staying here he said we'd just continue it like it was, and we never had to sign anything. Now before we sold the house we cleaned the carpets but they were realy worn and we made that clear to him. My question would be- could he try and keep our $1000 deposit towards new carpet or by law does he have to give it back to us when we decide to move?
