they will ask you about school, what your schedule is like,
some basic questions...Basically they know they will have to train you on just about everything. Make sure you emphasize that you realize the importance of excellent customer service, and you shouldn't have any problems. Don't listen to the other idiots here..working at wendy's will teach you some very important things about life!!! It will build character.

All of the previous answers are good , however, it would not hurt to know some facts about the company, ie who is Wendy, how many stores have they opened last year, what the stock is selling for etc. All of this info can be obtained in minutes on the net. Dont you think that the manager doing the interview would be impressed if you slipped some of those facts into your interview? EXAMPLE: "Why do you want to work here at Wendys"? I read that Wendys is opening XXX new stores in 2008, and I would like to be part of this growing company. Or I see that Wendys stock has gone up XX points. That tells me that the company is being managed by good people. GOOD LUCK

So you can study stuff about the company, think about your achievements, leadership all that, but it all comes down to a few things. If you act confidently and speak intelligently, the actual questions they ask will be much less important. They are looking for someone who is outgoing, friendly, and has common sense to solve problems. After working at Panera Bread for a year, I can tell you, anyone can be trained to work at a fast food restaurant, but there is a much smaller group of people that can actually do it well. Some people I train ask me questions about every little thing, many of which are common sense (ie: these bagels won't all fit in this bag, what should I do?..... answer: get a bigger bag) The less effort they have to put into training you, the more everyone there will like you. Also, the popular saying comes to mind "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean" stress the importance of actually working when you are getting paid, instead of only doing work when there are orders.

What To Wear: You don't have to get all dressed up. But maybe nice blake pants with white polo shirt would be fine. What They Will Ask You: I'm not sure, but it's a job at Wendy's! It's not gonna be hard at all. Chances Of You Getting It: We of course don't know that, but if you don't make a fool of yourself and answer the questions somewhat correctly, you'll probably get it. It's a Wendy's job!!! Don't get stressed out or anything. Good luck =] ♥♥♥

To all of you that are slamming Lisa for applying at Wendy's you should all be ashamed of yourselves. At least she has some drive to get some extra money at a entry level job. Unless you are born with wealthy parents, there is a time in your life to get a job, and at 16 the first job will sometimes be fast food. I worked at Taco Bell from 15 until I was 16, and it made me really respect that industry, very demanding for little pay. I respect you Lisa from taking the initiative to get a job.

I used to work there. I also worked at McDonald's, so trust me on this advice! =D
In any fast food interview, they'll ask you things about your education and past work experience, and ask you why you think you'd be best for the job. They might ask you for your strengths and weaknesses, and they also might ask you about personal experiences (things like 'what is your greatest achievement?' or 'give me an example of a time when you had to break the rules to...(etc.).'
The key is to be friendly, sit up straight, look nice, make eye contact, have a good tone of voice, and don't dwell on personal life details...give examples relating to your skills and your values that you think would make you the best candidate for the job.
Good luck sweetie! You'll be fine!

Hard to tell, but some common questions might be:
1. Why do you want a job?
2. Have you worked before?
3. Do you have any references?
4. What hours can you work?
It helps to act very interested in the job, but in general just be yourself. Good luck...

Why do you want to work here? What would you bring to Wendy's? Have you worked anywhere before? What do you like to do in your spare time?

They will probably ask why you want to work there, umm to say three adjectives that describe you, one bad thing about you, what you look for in a restaurant....those are the only ones I can remember that my sister said. (She works there)

It's a fast food place. As long as you are fairly good with people and seem pretty bright, you should get it. It's not like they have a waiting list of folks who wnat to server hamburgers.
