some one told me that the open or closed in the finance.yahoo or in other website is not the price of the stock so if this is not the price what the price of each price and where can i find it. i am beginer so please explain it in easy word. and of i want to buy share what website is a good one and what the word for the price fo the stock.

The word is price per share. If you look up the price on Yahoo finance it will be the price 20 minutes ago. A good website to buy shares is at www.etrade.com.

During market hours, the "current" price of all stocks are delayed up to 20 minutes at Yahoo Finance and other web sites.
You have to pay for a service, or use your brokers platform to view real time ticker prices.

I was just on Yahoo..........put in 'T' in the quote box and the current price came up........works for me...........
If you want to buy or sell a stock, you have to open an account with a bank or brokerage house................there are a lot on line,,,,,,,,I like TD Ameritrade....9 dollar commissions.........
Read a book or two on basic investing in stocks,,,,,,,,,the brokerage house might give you a couple of pamplets on investing..............it is fun when you make money..........
