with the number of bogus checks flying around due to scams, etc., you'll be hard pressed to find a cheque cashing company that will handle an item that large. They've all been burned before and are quite careful on that account.

what you do is deposit the cheque in your account at your bank.

do NOT send anyone any portion of it for any reason. It can take as long as three months for a cheque to be returned because the signature was forged [or the entire cheque].
