Now that the project is done, I sent in an Invoice to the company, who is now balking on my fees. Clearly we did not sign a formalized written agreement, but we were both so busy we completely forgot. However, my work as an electrical engineer is obvious ... I built and supervised an entire system! I have a copy of my schematics and other work documents that I took home with me upon project complete (as an archive). I am glad that I did now, because it is the only evidence that I have of my work now. Obviously we are both in error because neither of us (the company and myself as the independent contractor) signed a formal agreement. But the work was done, and there is no question they admit this as well. Any suggestions? I have received less than $3K total payment on a $75K invoice. I am having to borrow money to pay my rent, and so on, in the meantime.

I am in desperate need of a loan, approximately $15,000.00. If I don't pay my property tax, I'm going to lose my home. Does anyone know of a "guarenteed" place that will give loans to people with bad credit, and even people who have filed for bankruptcy. Anything will help, thank you for you trying to help.

I have a 495 credit score and just had a recent divorce and still living with my husband. I am staying with him to save money however I want to get my own home and its seems not to be possible because of my credit score. I have collections and some recent one's too. Are there any lenders out there that would be able to help me? I know this is alot but I am in the process of working on repairing my credit by paying car and credit card bills on time and no new open accounts. I want to buy a foreclosure and they have really good deals in Michigan the area that I am in. I know there will be high fees associated with a credit score like mines. That is not such a big deal if I get a good deal on a home and I have an action plan for my credit and would refinance in a year or so. Only serious inquires please and any advice on this type of situation. Thanks!

I have 5 years of service with my company and I am fully vested. How is an easy way to calculate what my pension would be when I turn 50? I am currently 30 years of age and would be able to draw on my pension in 20 years when I turn 50? I've asked my benefits office to calculate this for me but they have told me it will be about a week to get the info back to me. Just wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible for someone to borrow money and not pay it back... but still have good intentions? This girl used me on about $1500 and didn't pay me back for a long time until I had to pretty much call her a user and tell her shes taking advantage of me before she started paying. Now the relationship is really bad. Why should it take that much drama to get money back? Anyone have similar stories?

Are they really bad people or do they just need some help with money management? Anyone have any cases like this?

What can I do about a co worker who's envious/jealous of me & caused me lots stress. I really like the company I work for, but gosh, this demon posessed-cow...LOL..has really got it in for me! She's a manipulating-2 face BEOTCH! I'm a hard worker. I do my job & want 2 succeed in it just like everyone else. Mad cow has been lying 2 my boss. Tells the boss I'm late everyday. That I'm hardly ever at work & that I don't do my job corerctly. All of those things are lies! Since I was promoted into her department. She was the cow who trained me. NO manuals! I knew right away! She tried 2 confuse me & set me up to fail. One day she would tell me how 2 do a certain task & the next day, she would tell me it isn't they she explained it. I began documenting everything. Her lies were exposed. Now she's accusing me of something else she has no proof of. Me & another coworker have spoken 2 our boss about her 2 mo.'s ago. She's done the same 2 the other coworker. She won't teach us anything more! Help

How much is the tax? what is the likelyhood that they IRS will give you some sort of leniency or reprieve given the fact you are obviusly in a tight financial situation to begin with? How would filing bankruptcy affect your tax liablity? With so many thousands of people losing their homes I would have to believe that the IRS would want to come up with some sort of new policy since so many people like never before in history will be facing such financial nightmares from losing their homes.

Ok. Lets say a Real Estate investor buys a 20 unit apartment building (20-Plex). And this landlord has paid off the WHOLE building. It is 100% occupied and he charges 600 per month in each unit. And wonderfully everyone pays on time every month ;) SO it grosses at 144K a year. ALL i want to know is what will be his NET after that, because i know there are expenses that hes gonna have to use that 144K. Can u tell me what these different expenses are and how much u estimate his net will be after all the expenses? Thank YOU! Sorry about the long paragraph lol im just curious because i want to learn about RE investing.

I've gone to job boards and it seems like all the jobs are offered by employment agencies. It seems like they just hoard all the jobs and make it MORE difficult to find a good one. I've wasted my time with 4 of them so far and I feel like I've been blackballed because I'll call to see if there's anything for me but the answer is always no.
Am I paranoid?
