Is it mainly blue chip stocks that are more secure that also produce good ROE and good profit margins? I have found some good ftse 500 companies (uk companies that are at the top) but I cant find out the rate they would be paying out dividends.

As an example I would like to know how much of a dividend I would get on a £1000 investment in a company like Vodafone Group (LSE:VOD).

On walking into the factory, the MD noticed a young guy leaning against the wall, doing nothing.

He approached the young man and calmly said to him. How much do you earn?" The young man was quite amazed that he was asked such a personal question, he replied, none the less, "I earn $ 2,000.00 a month, Sir. Why?"

Without answering, the MD took out his wallet and removed
$ 6000.00 cash. And gave it to the young man and said, "Around here I pay people for working, not for standing around looking pretty! Here is 3 months' salary, now GET OUT and don't come back".

The young man turned around and was quickly out of sight. Noticing a few onlookers, the MD said in a very upset manner, "And that applies for everybody in this company".

He approached one of the onlookers and asked him, "Who 's the young man that I just fired ?" To which an amazing reply came of, "He was the Pizza delivery boy"!

in eastern europe property prices were up 150% over last 2 years (after joining EU). People take 30-40 year mortgages to buy, but can barely afford a studio flat. And I mean people who are well educated and earning well. And mortgage interest rate is very low now. What will happen now ?

I'm a student nurse, and a male. I was just wondering if any experienced male nurses knew what the best magazines to order would be, or any great websites to find scrubs and equipment? Thanks for your answers. I am very excited to actually be able to practice as a nurse and I haven't had much luck finding men's scrubs/clogs... Help!

I have a successful real estate firm that buys, rehabs and sells single families and multi-units. There is so much opportunity here in Chicago that I can't purchase property fast enough using money from banks (because the approval process for each property is so time consuming that seller sell to cash or near cash buyers). I'm looking for investors willing to fund $100k or more. This will allow my firm to purchase and rehab property faster thereby allowing us to sell it faster. I provide a prospectus with all the property specs so the investor knows the details of the property. Where can I find an investor willing to fund these projects in Chicago???

So I live in on a expensive side of town in AZ and currently looking for another place with a garage that's cheaper but that's gonna be at least a few months. Living with my mom payin' bills Car insurance, gas , phone and part of all the other bills along with $25 a week to pay back debts. Including food and such that is really burning my money, I work at Fry's making around $1000 or so a month but I still am pretty short. I can't afford to buy things I really need clothes, tools, etc etc.

I also have a car, 1992 Toyota MR2 that I just absolutely love but can't afford to give it the TLC needed. NOT selling it, it's how I'm getting to work and it's good on gas. It needs a lot of things done (what 16 yr abused car doesn't?) and I wanna work on it myself but can't afford the tools, no place to work on it either for now.

Work Drama. Hours cut, want me to do a 2hr 2 man job by myself. Really getting on me about it. New job or do a crappy job of it? 10.18 hr is good but it's stressful.

I am trying to figure out the best way to find out information from an accident settlement from many years ago for my friend. Her daughter was about 2 years old and got hit by a car, and there was supposed to be a settlement for the child held until she turned 18. Well she is almost 17, they have moved around quite a bit in the last 15 years, and has no information whatsoever. My only thought was to start with the police report....any other ideas of what else to do from there?

makes no sense to me right now since I thought all you need is undergrad degree in accounting like business admin:option in accounting and then from there just get CPA. After you get CPA your set, why would you want to get a masters as well? Makes no sense once again.

Also what is the highest paid salary of CPAs?

I am failed financially and about to seek protection under the bankruptcy law. I run up credit card bills while being married to my to-be-ex-wife, but I don’t want her to be responsible for my failure. Should I file BK before or after divorce is finalized? How can I be sure my creditors wont go after my ex-wife just because we were married when I over-extended myself? Also, I’d like to be sure that her credit wont be killed because of me. Thanks.

The site says they are middlemen, and won't issue 1099s. I only get paid when somebody "accepts my answer." I get about 20% of my answers actually "accepted" thus get paid. This is typical of all people who work there. This amounts to less than min. wage. I feel there should be some sort of write-off for my answers not "accepted." The site says they keep customer deposits in their account "forever." Since most don't accept, I need to know what the site does with customer deposits. They are not saying, except that the money stays in the customer accounts. While they collect all the deposits, again, only 20% of that is paid to people like me. Surely, they cannot leave these deposits "prepaid assets" for longer than a year. They have to recognize unclaimed deposits at income at some point don't they?

If they do recognize income, can I then claim some sort of bad debt expense for "non accepts?" The site keeps the deposits, we only hope for an "accept." to get paid = < min wage
