Hi All,

Recently i got an offer from Tanjung Rhu Resort for the position of software developer with a monthly salary of 3900USD per month.

If any one in Malaysia please tell me is there any hotel in Malaysia with this name..and what is the guarantee that he will take my eyes and kidneys and leave me alone on the road(Extreme case)...

And one more doubt i have is that a resort is recruiting for Software positions...How far it is believable????

And in the offer letter he mentioned like this We will send u the flight tickets once your Immegration formalities are over.....And it is also mentioned we only have to bear the processing/mobilisation charges...

And the importnat thing i dont know is..How that guy got my mail address...Actually he called me from Malaysia and took an formal interview..

i am in big confusion please help me in this reagrd..

I recently applied on line for a job as a secretary through an agency. He's never met me before and I don't know him or his agency from Adam. He emailed me a typing speed test, in which I completed on line. He emailed me back to say, "Sorry, you're not quick enough. Therefore I shall not put you through for the job". Talk about negative. I want an agency that will draw on my strengths and just to dismiss me like that, I find, quite rude. I told him this and he emailed, "What an attitude at such an early time in the morning". He hasn't even taken me into consideration as a whole, and just because I failed one test - that's the end. I explained to him that I need an agency who will draw on my strengths, but he's snubbed me. How do I assert myself more powerfully with him?

I have been asked to do a SWOT analysis for a company called National Deposit - (www.nationaldeposit.co.uk). They are a friendly society providing financial products and services.

I know I had over $400 in my account, & I spent $225 @ WalMart, & the payment didn't go through as debit, so the cashier had me do it as credit. & then when I went to try to check my balance, the account said something about UNAUTHORIZED USAGE. WTF?

I have heard that there is a shortage of engineering skills in England. Is that true & is it therefore a good profession to get into?

The only problem that I may have getting into the profession is that I am a 40 year old graduate with no qualifications or experience in engineering. Om top of that, I am hopeless at drawing & designing.

I graduated with a degree in statistics & finance.

There's this girl I work with that is a lesbian. Now, I want to make this perfectly clear: I have NO PROBLEM with someone who is gay or lesbian. Mining Act of 1872 allows any American citizen and even foreign corporations to drive four stakes into the ground at the corners of government owned public land in most western states and apply for a patent (title) on the land. You can apply for as many as you like and pay a yearly $100 fee for the land.

Would I be able to stake our 50 or 100 of these 20 acre parcels and build homes on these sites, sell them at a profit?

Has anyone actually done this yet?

I know there is a patent moratorium that is renewed by Congress every year, but that just stops you from buying the title to the land at $5 per acre, but you can still pay the $100 yearly per 20 acre plot. The big question remains:

Is this legal?

The thing is this, I've gone to 3 job interviews already, this week I'm doing some tests and after that it's get the job or not I've been working at my current job for 2 years (job A), before that I worked for a few months at another job (job B) but said I was there for a year on my resume.

Job B experience is not relevant to the position, do you think they'll be called? Is it normal to call ALL of your previous employers or just the previous one?

last year I moved from USA to india to start new business. Since first year is normally for erection and installation of machinery as there was no commecial production, but this year I'm expecting profit after meeting operating expense. Now if I pay the income tax as per local country's rule how should I remitt those profits back to USA so that it may be re-invested in other business in USA or other overseas countreies. Do I have to pay taxes on those profits in USA? how should I get my indian company's operation recognized in USA i.e. having a parent company in USA and branch office in India like that? Since I'm an USA citizen I deifinitely feel more comfortable to report all my earnings including overseas to IRS
so that in future I may have sufficient funds to start a good business or do investment in my own country.

We wish to manage the upkeep of our freehold property by ourselves. The building is in need of some urgent external structural repairs. We have received the quotes and now need to raise the funds.
