My sister sent off for details as she is stuck at home with kids. They reckon they will pay you £500+ for every 100 envelopes you stuff and for every 500 at least £2,500 per week. She has to send them £70 for the privilage or £35 if she replies within 7 days. This is for her 'full & complete starter pack' and is fully refundable when she has earned her first £50. Is this genuine or is she being taken for a MUG. Genuine answers only please...Thanks

I am not saying that this is a bad way to invest. This is actually the way I have decided to invest after reading loads about Warren Buffet etc.

But I have been wondering how guys like buffet managed to get the money to invest in new companies if he didnt sell? And how did he earn a living.

I am asking this because I have been buying shares for a while now and I am expecting to hold them for a long time. But when do I actually earn an income?

Dividends are a slow way to get a good income and I would have to invest hundreds of thousands of pounds to get a decent level of divident income.

I have a $1,500 debt with University of Phoenix online. They lied to me on several occasions and grossly misrepresented themselves in an attempt to get me to take classes with them. I will never be able to use the credits I earned, and I dont believe I own them a cent. How does one go about disputing a debt. They have turned this matter over to a collection agency.

I've worked too hard to have my money disappear overnight by a shock overnight bank collapse.

I always thought The Royal Bank of Scotland was safe, and still do sort of.... but now I'm wondering cause I'm sure they went shopping and bought US banks/lenders a while back.

Are there any banks with loadsa cash, strong asset sheet, few dodgy bad loans on their books ect... where it's safest for money.

HSBC worries me cause of all that World Bank stuff.... makes me think they are exposed to risks in every country and what would happen in there was a run on deposits in like HSBC accounts in Singapore or France or whatever, as I'm sure that would affect UK depositers standing too.

BTW - I'm going out now with my Mum... will have to check for answers (and thumbs up good ones) when I get back in 2 hours. Thanks.

The space rented out is in a commercial area. The tenant is a close friend of my brother. She will not give me a copy of her lease contract. I have informed her verbally before she occupied the space that i am part owner and the lease contract should be signed by me and my brother. She went ahead and occupied the space without my knowledgeand said that she has a contract with my brother. I don't know how to go about this legally.

Last year I sold my house and was almost over paid. I noticed the principal was lower than what I actually owed.

Confused I mentioned this to the title personnel and they corrected the actual principal amount and paid me what was expected.

My question to you is if I did not mention anything would I be liable to return the amount over-paid? Would there be any possible litigation or tax issues?

Whilst i dont think it will, and i have listened to the news which states that some of the stories surrounding NR are exaggerated to the max it did get me wondering what would happen if NR or any other bank went into liquidity. Would i simply have to continue paying my mortgage to another organisation?

Therre has been muttering in the City for many months about an impending mortgage crisis. It looks as though it is upon us or very near. Why is it that having such a long period of notice the "Big Boys" did nothing about it? A small buiness making profits and having liquidity problems would be acccused of financial incompetence or worse

Bartending fits perfectly but the problem is that I've never bartend before. Ive worked as a server and busser in many restaurants, and I know a lot of popular drinks. Does anyone think I can make the cut, or what do you guys thiink I should do to make myself more qualified

I'm going to my final interview in two days, but the problem is, I have a dentists' appointment already scheduled on one of the days that I said I'll probably be free for work. The thing is, my dentist told me that there might be some swelling for a few days so he advised me to get lots of rest and such, and stay at home if I can because I might need to take some medicine. If I tell my potential employer about this, is there a chance that this might affect my getting hired? When should I tell him about this? After I'm sure that I'm hired and we're working out my work schedule?

Also, I can't reschedule it because he wants to do the work on my teeth soon and he's fully booked on all the other days that I'm free.
