wher do my taxes go to? I mean, school isn't free. medicine isnt free. transportation isnt free. u get robbed and call the police and all they do is file some stupid report, useless.
so why the **** am I paying 20% of my paycheck?? where the **** does it go?

Some goes to the federal government, some goes to the state government, some goes to social security so that you'll get something back when you retire, and some goes to medicare.

Some of it goes to the schools to help people learn to spell correctly.
Your taxes go to pay for government and government functions and programs - examples are social security, public schools, roads, national defense, and many other things.

you should happy to contribute of your income in progress of India.you should analysis it so havy exepenses made by Indian government , what are sources of completed these expenses. You contribute 20% of your paycheck but more pure person get this contribute facilities by government Hospital. Government School. Government transport for handycapt person etc.
