I work in a local authority for rubbish money and have a second bar job. The pay isnt great, little chance of development in near future but quite enjoy it.

Im therfore thinking of a change. Im in debt, have a degree but want more money. Should I go for something like a secretary that could be mindless but lots of money or keep lookign for the perfect job that might not be as much money.

Any thoughts or advice very welcome

I have always been ambitious. When i was 13 i got my first job and have been working since then. I went to school and got my AAS in medical assisting in my 20's and even started a brief cleaning business, but now in my early 30's i am making less money than i did in my 20's and i am beginning to feel like i am getting further away from what i was intended do on this earth. I just cant figure it out. How should i go about in retracking my life and finding work that is suitable. At this age now i dont think i want to work for anyone anymore, but i do know that starting a business cost money, which i dont have.

Ive been very confused lately with exchange rates as I live in UK. At the minute its a great time for sharedealers to invest in US stock market as the pound is very strong. However I cant seem to grasp what happens to my money when I invest on the NYSE in a japanese company such as Toyota. How will the us exchange rate against the yen affect my investment?

A simple case study would be really helpful.

Thanks

the link now. I read it a few weeks ago but I can't remember how I got to it. It would have included people from IG Index. NB it was about share trading and CFD's rather than Poker etc.

Thanks in advance

i just moved into a flat a week and a half ago, when we look at the property it was still being revovated and had no complete kitchen and many other things including no carpet and hot water etc. We gave them the date we wanted to move in and said fine it will be all finished by then.

When we went to sign the lease, pay the money and collect the keys we were told that the kitchen still need a tiny bit of work which would be done next morning. We got to the property to find nothing had been done, the kitchen was in pieces nothing was installed and we had no hot water also it was still uncomplete throughout and full of building supplies and dirt.

We immideatily called the agents who said it would be all done saturday, a week passed before anything was done and now it still isnt finsihed, the kitchen/lounge is still unlivable and many many things still incomplete.

Can we withhold rent for every day its not done?

Land lord is an institution. Its rule is that rent must be paid on or before 10th of the month. If on 10th day, the institution office has weekly holiday, rent is paid on the 11th. Can the institution charge penalty?

That person drinks alot every night,

That likes sleeping til noon,

That isn't afraid to get his hands dirty,

That needs at least 500 a week to get by.

That is a non-conformist and does things his own way. . .

What job would fit that person?

I quit my job of 7 years after being suspended on what a co-worker said about my work performance. The co-worker, a RN license is to delegate basic tasks to CNA's which I am. However, we were short this day, the RN was told to do her own work by our charge RN since we were short CNA's.The RN delegated to me so that she could eat breakfast and sit. Swamped, I tried but was unable to meet the demands of two missing co-workers & pt volume. Two other RN's I worked with knew of this co-workers laziness and the stress she was putting upon me, but said nothing in my defense after they agreed the situation was unfair. I tried to go above my managers head and talk w/ adm, but was beat to the punch by my manager.I always went above and beyond when it came to working there, and I loved my job! The RN has been fired b/c of her bad work performance, and the manger demoted to a lower postion out of that dept. I want my job back but quit the orgnztion, do I stand a chance of gettiing job back?

got agreement on a settlement with car accident insurance company (other guy's fault, they are paying me). They sent a Relase Form that includes this paragraph:

It is further understood and agreed that any party hereby released admits no liability to the undersigned or any others, --> shall not be stopped or otherwise barred from asserting, and expressly reserves the right to assert any claim or cause of action such party may have against the undersigned or any others. <--

what is the deal here?!?!? It sounds like they are wanting to preserve the right to sue me. I don't get why this would be part of a release form.

There is no question of whose fault it was. There is no reason why they would be suing me. Why is this here. (and don't say it's just a stock clause--that's a NON-answer)

Pls answers from people who actually know what they are talking about.

Ok I have a C.C. with a non-paid balance of $2,352 it is still with the credit company. I have a phone bill for $1900 that is in collections. I am at a point where I can finally take care of these debts. The C.C. was originally $300 so that is $2052 in late charges, etc. Anyone know what I might closely be able to negotiate this down to? I am sure I will be paying the phone bill in full though. Now after this is paid I know my credit won't be magically good again. I had heard if I could prove to a credit union I have paid these debts. I might be able to get a car loan this way, anyone know if there is any truth to this? Thanks for any information.
