I have a BA in Spanish, but I'm still not fluent in it. I really don't have many skills. I don't even know what to do. Someone on here suggested I become self-employed since I have trouble finding a job.

I suffer depression & anxiety disorder as well as OCD & Tourette's, & I'm on SSI & Social Security. I want to work, but many people tell me I shouldn't work or else it'll be hard for me to get my benefits back. I have my college degree, & I still can't find a job, so I'm back in school. Lots of things interfere with my concentration & focus, & I get distracted easily. The problem is that no one wants to hire me, but I don't know what it is that I'm doing wrong on my application & resume that make an employer not want to hire me. I know I don't have much work experience. I can't keep a job because people think I'm annoying because I always feel the need to explain myself when my supervisor tells me I did something wrong. I never did well with relationships, & people get turned off easily by what I do or say, but I don't mean any harm. Employers have fired me for finding out I have mental illnesses. I feel depressed because I can't live a normal life like everyone else.

Almost a month ago, I made arrangements to pay a bill off with payments made every 2 weeks. 2 payments have been made and the company has not sent a reciept of payment. My bank sais that the payments were sent and recieved. Now, the company has sent my account to a collection agency. This action has reduced my credit score some and the bill is for the full amount owed, not the amount less the 2 payments made. What options do I have?

Is there a legit thing to do on line to produce a good cash income.

I haven't held a job for more then a year since 2002. I have voluntarily left the jobs for various reasons, such as the job having no growth/advancement potential, more responsibility then I can handle, not having enough responsibility (hence becoming bored at work), bad pay, bad hours (I've either had a great hourly wage but with part-time hours or vice versa), and I have been fired 3 times. Twice for not being able to keep up with the basic, minimum reqirements of the job (telemarketing surveys and serving)and once for a no call/no show.

I paid off all my debt. I got a secured credit card for about 1 year and i charge it and then pay it off before the end of the month when they report to the beurus. really i only charge it so that way they keep reporting it. by the time they report i usually have a balance of 5-10 dollars.

For the last (almost year) i have not only made the payments for my car on time but made many many extra payments to knock down the princible.

Today i pulled my credit and i am at
Experian 573
Equifax 596
Transunion 583

what can i do to boost my score. i would like to be at least average. :)

What else can i do in order to prove the IRS that the money I spent on them are actually business expenses? I just need a way to make it deductible. on my taxes. Can I just make a "disclaimer" forn stating something like,


I------------------------- represent a company that sells merchandize to (me) who later on sells it on Ebay.
SIgnature-------------------

THis is just an example, but will something like this with a monetary expense value and a signature from them would be enough to prove Uncle Sam that the money I spent on are actually business expenses? if not, give me an example. HELP

I am the founder of an environmental organization. We have a website, etc. A friend of mine is doing a lot to help with the networking, etc. of the organization and she wants to mention that on her resume (it's an environmentla organization and she is applying for an environmental marketing job). I have 25K in a 401(k) and would like to withdraw all of the funds for a better investment. My ex-employer matched my deposits.

a. What are the penalties associated with the withdrawal?
b. I know I must pay income tax on the amount, does that happen in the next tax year, or immediately?
c. Will my employer take back any matched funds, or are they mine?
d. Are there any breaks associated with paying off tuition costs?

Please spare me the lecture on taking out 401(k) funds, I have weighed my options carefully, and this would be the best decision for me.

the thing is is that back in may 2005 i had a car accident but i had full coverage with $5000 to cover my medical bills. turns out my insurance company never paid for these 3 bills! So now i have poor credit! Now my insurance is saying that they can still pay them! but the damage is already done! after sending them my bills to them AGAIN what will happen with my credit score or report? will it still be bad? or can i dispute this and get it off my record cause my insurrance lied to me saying they had paid my bills and another thing it took them two years to fianlly pay the other party. and they only paid it because i was now being sued! what can i do about this matter?

Here is my situation:

I have about 11 million in securities (stocks, bonds) portfolio with no debt. I am not looking for super houses so houses in the 500k ~ 1 million will do for me. I am almost 30 and single, no kids (for your tax considerations). I have no prediction of my future income because it depends almost entirely on markets and discretionary bonuses.

I am pretty confident that I can get a low interest mortgage, but does it make sense for me to do that? Suggestions welcome.
