Hi kenneyg

You can get tons of information on affiliate programs that you join free at http://www.associateprograms.com , plus alot of good marketing information there also.

These you dont "buy into" but remember there are costs associated with any business, ie those of marketing, especially if you chose to market online. You can do things the free way which can be extremely time consuming if that is all you use or you can combine pay and free resources.

Example.. you can create a video to market on youtube.com, or to put on aol.com or google.com and that all takes time.. or you can use services which automate for you the same process. (videos on your own site, or video hosting sites are just one means of marketing any business)

You can "cold call" leads you buy/generate and spend forever doing so, or use a service thats cheap and leaves a message for all at once. This is at least good for follow up calls, to save time.

You can learn how to tell people about your business (for the initial call) on such sites as http://www.danijohnson.com or http://www.terrybiller.com or http://www. brilliantexchange.com All have free call sections where you get to hear what they have first. These trainers learned the hard way, & now teach...

If you really want to start a home business, find something you are passionate about. Since its online, you will need a website. No business is free... totally.... and you'll also need your own domain name. Go then to the training site on home business, like http://www.internetmarketingtips.com, or http://www.homebusiness.com, read up on relevant articles on article sites such as ezinearticles.com etc.

You'll need to know your goals for a homebiz. Definately check out http://www.dnaofsuccess.com by Jack Zufelt, & how affirmations & writing down goals is not the solution..There is also a guy Max Steingart who has superb training.. if you like more the personal touch & warm market marketing (on the net.. yahoo, msn etc). Go to
http://maxsteingart.com/ for his offer.

There are SO many resources from tools, to information online. I'd join David Vallieres's ezine...and look up ezines on the search engines you might like. Tellman Knudson and his site and especially emails are an inspiration.. he has ADD (attention defecit disorder) and helps those with this become successful at www.instantADDsuccess.com

One more thing.. there are inexpensive homebusinesses you can promote for small money, but are easy to start with.. and "tools" sites like mine at http://maureen.myworldresults.com/ for that "automated dialout salesperson" type tool, along with multiple other tools you'll need in a home business.
You can either help ALL those in a homebiz by providing the tools they need, like this, or you can promote a home biz also.

If you pick a homebiz that has larger commissions, you need fewer sales.... however you need to know the product is real and worthwhile and that people will actually want to buy it.
Plus in any homebusiness, you need a website to promote it.
The company often offers one for a small yearly cost, as ours does, and then you have your own site. This is not "buy in" its simple hosting costs of your own business, as free pages are often not indexed in the search engines anyway, so no traffic..

I've been in a number of home businesses, some who went out of business. Now though I'm with a luxury travel company that offers a discount membership to help anyone save on their own vacation... by paying in installments if need be.
Plus getting the tax writeoffs of a homebusiness also...

If you'd like to see what type of page you should have if you promote a homebusiness, check out our team page here:
http://smartbusiness.shorturl.com or here: http://www.automateforlife.com
Like many others, we also have a free affiliate option.

If you join a good homebiz group, you''ll get support on the phone/via email, training calls, team pages made for you, marketing training etc etc. Its not easy to "go it alone" in a homebiz... and much better if you have a support system in place to help you move forward. Good companies like ours provide regular training calls, not just on the product, but on building a business in general and specific tecniques to grow your biz.

Hope this helps.

A business will always act like a business.
A business will never act like a charity NGO!
If you want to get money from internet business, you got to accept the fact that it will behave and operate like a business - no free lunch! don't get cheated by free offer that end up with frustation when your efforts and hardwork is not paid for.
Look for free trial period, that way you're sure of what you want before getting into it full swing.

Yes the pay in ones are horrible. They are scams. Ca$hCrate is free and easy to make fine money.

Just go to www.c ashcrate.com/297383 (No space between c & a) and go there and register. Ive already made $50 and its only my first month! I get a lil experience and BOOM! $100-$300/month. I cant believe it but it is amazing. You should try it man.

Have you heard of My Power Mall? In my opinion it is the best online business, first because it is FREE, and second because it really does work. You can watch the five minute presentation video at;

Good Luck!
