Ok guys I can either shoot for a duel MBA/MA government degree at Johns Hopkins or a Masters of Public Policy at Brown University. Which sounds like the better deal? Which one bears a little more prestige and recognition?

Brown is ivy. So brown is the better school unless you want to get into medical, which in that case go to John Hopkins. Brown is higher in academics, because they are considered and ivy league and therefore more respected.
