I'm taking out an auto loan for $32,000. My credit union has offered me 5.5% for 72 months. Is that a good rate? I have looked at several other places and they all want a minimum of 6.9%. My rate seems too good to be true. Is it?

By the way, I have excellent credit (FICO over 800 with NO debt).

Thanks!

Let's say a British guy purchases an island in the middle of the Pacific. Does that island become part of Great Britain, or remain whatever it was before, or how does that work? Any tax benefits to each?

My boyfriend and I bought a house together back in Feb. Its financed in both our names
We broke up a few weeks ago. We both agreed I would move cause I couldnt afford the payments.
He gave me $2000 to move out on but he had me sign a paper saying I release my rights and obligations to the house.
I called the mortgage company and they said as far as thier concerned I'm still liable to them . But he insists I sold my share of the house to him cause I signed that paper. It was never noterized. Can someone help me out? Would it do any good to take him to court to make him sell .

We have maxed everything out and now are trying to get things under control. We have about 50K in credit cards, 30 in cars, and 110 in a house. Our home is only worth 128K so we dont have enough in equity. Suggestions on how to fix this or how you have?? Bankruptsy isnt an option we want to even consider. We spent the money and are going to have to deal with it.

Me and my boyfriend are about to move out
We can decide between an apartment
and a trailer. The rent isnt much of a difference thats why were deciding which would be better, thier both two bedrooms and etc. not really much of a difference btwn the two. My boyfriend would rather have the trailer because its like our own little house, we have a little yard and etc...its also closer to our parents and jobs. I like the apartments but i dont really care either way. The trailers are nice too, theyre not dirty or anything. Looks nice and clean.

I want to hear from other people who have a trailer or had a trailer, wed be living there for about two years, me my boyfriend and a baby. When you tell someone you live in a trailer do they think of you as trashy and poor? My mom seems to think like that for some odd reason

I am looking for extra ways to make money to save while waiting for a job call-back and going on interviews, and this one came to mind. If anyone has any other (legal) ways, they would be VERY much appreciated. :-) Thanx.
