With the exception of limited filed, In most cases, It is not illegal. However, the employer must pay properly, overtime, double time, etc. This is not a smart employer, a tired worker is almost like a walking time bomb, he/she can do mega damage to the employer.

It can be, depending on the industry in which you work. Each industry has a different "wage order" (available at www.dol.gov) which specifies the working hours and breaks required by law.
In most industries, you can work 7 days straight as long as you receive a day off sometime in the following work week. I'm not familiar with any industry that permits a straight-through 14-day work schedule, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
Good luck.

If you're in the United States, working an x number of days consecutively is not illegal, although just plain wrong!

No. I have worked 31 straight days in the hospital because people called in. There were not enough trained people to replace them. I had to work. My boss couldn't even do my job.
There are some federal regulations, but there are loopholes for some jobs like mine.

in some States you are required to have 1 day off a week, CT is not one of those states, you actually can be made to work 365 days in a row in CT as it is with most states

Not illegal by federal law. It's possible that some states have a law about this, but I don't know of any.

After 14 days I wouldn't be straight, I'd be bent.

Nope ,
Some state labor laws do require overtime ,
But others don't .
Check with your state labor board about pay requirements for pay periods without time off .

Most likely it is not illegal. There are some professions - most notably in the medical field - where it is illegal. However, those are rare exceptions.
