actually I'm studying in company secretarial practice.
I'd like to know what happen to our shares if registered charge over all ordinary shares issued by our company? our company is a private limited company. The banking facilities enable us to finance our acquisition of the development land, the tenure is up to 15 years with initial grace period of up to 6 months after value date.

I went into work yesterday with a cold and by the end of the day it was getting worse. The office manager I work with told me that if I wasn't feeling well today to just call out and not push myself to do too much. I still don't feel that great today and I don't want to get everyone contaminated (I work in a small office). I work for my uncle and that makes it worse on me to call out. I feel guilty calling in like I should go to work. I go to work full time and I also am going to college too. I have a class tonight that I have to go to from 4-7 and it's the first class so I can't miss it. But, I would be working from 8:30-3 then right after that going to class.

What should I do?

When you call out sick should I call the office itself when I know the office manager is there? Should I call my uncle who is my boss?

I rented a room in condo. Landlord supposedly lost my rent payment for last month (Aug) she asked me to put a stop pay on check and write a new one. I complied. Supposed lost check went through despite stop pay request. I have proof of stop payment request. "Lost" check did go to landlords bank, so did the replacement check. I found out about this a week since I moved out of condo. I called former landlord asked for the refund of overpayment, she said she'll refund money but then changed her mind & decides to keep money, claims "it's a sign from above" money belongs to her. She also claims since I did not give proper 30 days notice, she has the right to keep the overpayment. I rented the room for almost a year, but there is no written contract, no written lease agreement. Nothing in writing about 30 days notice. Do I have a case against my former landlord? If I sue on small claims, what are the chances I win the case?

I live in Scotland and am due to move house next week. I'm having problems finding an insurance company who will insure the house due to the survey stating "the property has been affected at some time in the past by some movement..." though later they say ..."the movement is in our opinion comparatively longstanding as there is no evidence of any recent/continuing movement".

Does anyone know of a "high street" insurance company that will insure the property? I don't want to go to a specialist as no doubt they'll charge an arm and a leg.

Thanks.

I have just reported a neighbour because I can hear him beating his children (they visit him on the weekend) and the kids are scremin so much that it scares me.

He also plays loud music at 4'o clock in the morning

Plus, he has a woman come round and she makes alot of noise during sex, so much so, that I can hear it on the street when I walk to the shops.

I have reported him to the housing officer, because it is not on,

He lives below us, we live in a block of flats

what could happen, could he lose his tenancy?

I have a physical address that don't accept usps mail .. instead I had to get a P.O. box. So I did one of the most stupid things ever .. I ordered my wedding ring online :( .. And they shipped it to the wrong address (wrong address meaning they send it to my physical address instead of my P.O. Box) :*(

My question is .. when I went to the usps website just moments ago I got this :

Your item was undeliverable as addressed at 8:38 AM on September 10, 2007 in ***********, HI 967**. It is being returned if appropriate information is available.

Do you think they sent it back already or do you think I have some luck if I go down to the Post office box as soon as they open??

Btw this is a small post office .. and I contacted them (post office) in advance of this problem .. they said ok .. no prob, this happens all the time .. but I guess they slipped :(

I've been working for many years but I work in contract security and its a very unreliable job. After 4 years I'm not making any more money then when I started and they lose sites all the time so I have to keep switching around. I am a good worker who has never called off a day and always get good praise but don't seem to be going anywhere. Also in this line of work if you ask for a raise they say the only way you get a raise is if they sign a new contract that pays more, but the problem is that rarely happens or they lose the site altogether. I need to get in a new field but I can't seem to get my foot in the door. I can do pretty much anything, computer skills, hardwork, telephone it doesn't really matter.

I recenlty inherited the home where I have been living all my life and taking care of an elderly relative, I don't have to pay rent, but I do have to pay all the other expenses: insurance, water, sewer, trash, etc. Problem is, the neighborhood is run-down, and has gotten bad,. In fact there was a huge fight of about 15 people a few doors down TODAY. Also, someone got shot as a result of a huge brawl , down the street just a few months ago. Cars race through here on a regular basis, radios thumping and blaring. I am absolutely sick of it and am ready to move. I can get small apartment for about 1-200.00 month more than I am already paying in monthly expenses
( insurance, water, sewer, etc). A couple of my friends think I should stay cause I have " free rent" and property ownership, but, I value my safety, and I don't feel safe in this neighborhood at all, and am longing for a quiet area without all the radios thumping and gunfire. . What's your opinion? Thanks!

So, I have this job that pays marginally well, & to be honest; I do not actually have to work hard at all. However, after 17 years, I am at the same salary I was 5-6 years ago. Plus, there exists a "ceiling" on how much I can earn. At which, I am at the max, & have been for YEARS!
So what do you cool cats think?
