Several foreigners who worked for this company via a work visa are now finding out the owner claimed he filed taxes for them every year but it was a lie. They don't speak much English and are now finding out they need to file taxes. He also has paid overtime less than the minimum wage and in cash- not in their checks. How do I report him?

I need some advice about tax refund information.
My husband and I we are living apart for about 5 month.
Now my husband wanted me to claim at my job " married 0", while last year we claim" married 1". Why he wants to change ?
Second: he wants us to do our taxes jointly, but reallly I do not want, because I think he is taking some advantage in that way..I tell why I think that is because he makes more than $60,000 per year . He makes very good money in a great company plus he has his own bussiness ( he is an electrician).
Only I make $30,000 per year ...He said:- we should do the taxes again jointly , but we are living apart ( he lives at his home and I'm living at my parents home) why we need to do again joint taxes when we are living apart?
Maybe is because cause of me we can get more money, more refund back.., because last year when we did jointly we had to pay and I pay 1/2
I preffer to do separeted because I think I'm going to get more refund back, What do you think? Advice

I am moving to Pennsylvania early next year and will still be working in Maryland. Will I have to pay any taxes to Maryland? People have told me they pay MD & PA taxes in this case, but I see on the state comptroller & revenue sites that these states have an agreement for people in this situation to just pay their taxes to their resident state(PA). Also, after I move, do I just fill out new tax forms at my employer? Thanks...

Let's say you find a home and your realtor tells you that the seller "probably" won't go down much in price because they don't have much equity in the house. The seller only bought the house 2 years ago.
I'm kinda thinking that they are one of the buyers that might about to be foreclosed on.
Anyway, our agent says they purchased it for $173,000. Now they are trying to sell, in a very slow and soft market for $187,900 and aren't willing to budge much at all on price, because they upped the listing price on the home by $14,900 in order to cover their initial investment and the cost of paying the agent listing it for them.
Maybe buyer's agents don't want them to come down in price either, for risk of not getting a good commission. The owners could end up stuck with this house for a long time if they don't come down. I kinda wonder who's side my agent is on? Yeah I want them to come down in price so we can buy it.

Hello...
I will be prequalifying for a mortgage in February. I have very good credit but don't make enough money for me to qualify for the mortgage amount I want. The person that will be living with me and helping to pay the mortgage has terrible credit, but if we could combine our incomes we could get the house we want. Is there any way of having both incomes and only my credit considered? The other person is not a spouse and I am planning on applying with Bank of America. Maybe someone who was in the same situation can help. Thanks in advance

It is commonly held that IFAs can search the entire marketplace for the best products. However Royal Bank of Scotland private banking tell me their products (publicly advertised on their site) are not available to IFAs. Do IFAs know about these (potentially better products) or not? If a better product is available in the market but not to the IFA is it not a conflict of interest for the IFA to sell the customer an inferior product knowing there is a more suitable product they don't earn any commission on?

Ok I haven't had steady work in more than 2 years because of mental illness that I'm trying to resolve. I have worked here and there for a couple of months at a time because it's hard for me to keep a job but I'm in counseling and I'm determined to find work to save money for a car and turn my life around. My credit score is like 400 so it's really bad and I owe more than $5,000. My question is...how long would I have to be at a job to qualify and how much would I need to put up for a down payment? Would I qualify for a car if I worked 6 straight months and I saved $2,500 for a down payment? It doesn't have to be a brand new car. I would be happy with car that's 5 years old and like $7,000. Do you think I can qualify?
