This is going to require some leg work and having a “thick skin” for hearing “No”. This is what friends of mine did:
The Bride-to-be AND Groom-to-be went around to different vendors and suppliers and asked for “free” this and “free” that. Free flowers; free food; free cake; free DJ & band; free photographer; etc.
What did they do in exchange? On the computer they created a wedding day itinerary and they listed each and every company and person who contributed their products and services to their wedding! They had about 100 guests at the wedding and reception.
What’s the purpose? Future business and referrals for those wonderful folks who donated their products and services.
Thank you for asking your question. I enjoyed taking the time to answer it. You did a great job - not only for your information, but for every other person interested in reading my answer. Thanks to everyone for reading my answer.

Bad Credit Does Not Mean You Cannot Get A Loan. One of the most popular resources for researching bad credit loans is the internet. Almost all lenders have web sites that provide guidelines and information about their bad credit loan programs, and some even offer onlinemake your credit rating worse, so make sure you learn as much as possible about each lender’s program before deciding whether or not to complete an application. You can also work with an independent loan broker to help determine which lenders have programs that fit your individual circumstances.

You can get married in Vegas without even getting out of the car for $24.95. That's my advice :)
I'm still paying off my wedding from a year ago.
The loan situation may be difficult. Obtaining a loan without collateral with bad credit poses a problem. Is there something you can sell to make the money?

Try replanning your wedding. This really doesn't sound like a good idea to borrow money to get married. If you need to borrow money to get married, what money are you living on?
My wife and I had a very simple wedding that didn't cost a lot of money. We had family members make flowers and my wife's grandmother sewed her dress. After 21 years of marriage it's a sweet but distant memory.
If you must get married right away, then go to the Justice of Peace. Then you can save and have a real ceremony next year sometime. You'll feel better accomplishing this on your own nickel anyway and you and your new bride can plan for it together.
Good Luck.

OK , wedding and loan . . .
Nothing screams $$$$ disaster like wedding loan ,
Unless it is thinking girlfriends mommy is suppose to pay for your wedding .
Consider this a giant omen from above .
Stop , get your financial life together first .
Then , get married .
AND , try NOT to end up a single baby daddy in the meantime .

>Beware of Advance fee Loan scams.
LOAN SCAM - Do Not Pay UpFront Fees.
Do not send money UpFront via Western Union or MoneyGram to any person or business in the UK, Nigeria or Canada in hopes of getting a loan. If you do you will learn a hard lesson & never see any Loan money.

I think Ron B.'s suggestion is a great one. If that doesn't work, see if there is anywhere in the current plans where you can cut corners. You may need to cut guests if it will cut the cost of catering. :( You could also try and work out a payment plan with some of the vendors or see if you can get someone to do it cheaper than they will. Good luck!

My advice is to wait until you can afford it to get married. Having bad credit and attempting to borrow money for a wedding is ridiculous.
