are you talking about in america or where cause it all depends on what country and things like that .

like here in england ... i notice that in london there are alot of places you can find selling carribean food but there is hardly anything selling it in hertfordshire and i know it would be in demand if a place opened up .

just think about what your place is missing .

but think about it this way ...people are always looking for food right :)

Make cakes for local restaurants and coffee bars. Cookies, brownies, cup cakes. You can start small and grow into a commercial space. Sometimes churches or community centers have commercial kitchens you can rent. Call Monday morning, deliver on Tuesday. Call Wednesday, and deliver Friday morning. Start with a carrot cake. Don't hold back on the good stuff. Then come with brownies.

Sell to college students! Why, because they're interest is in a wide range of things, that means if one person won't buy the other will. I have found that shops located near campus are very successful, due to kids not having a lot of ways to get around. Coffee shops, corner stores, clothing stores, you name it.
