are there any work at home jobs that are not scams and dont cost anything to join? i have spent 100's of dollars on jobs that just want your money or they dont work and i never get paid. i just want a little extra money from home. i had a regular job and i got fired cuz i wasnt always at work,cuz of family problems,i just want to work at home for a while.

I would like to get a pre payment card, as i can't get an actual credit card & don't really want one anyway. Just wanted the pre payment card so i can purchase things online. Really annoying having to always ask a mate to do it for me! Don't want to be paying high monthly fees or anything like that, because as i said just want it to use online. can you get charged for theft for non payment of loan i rec'd a loan 2 months ago at a area loan company for 350.00 and lost my job and am unable to repay the loan back they left a message and said they will file theft charges. I am in texas.

I'm pregnant and I received my medicaid card in the mail but I also received a letter saying I should apply for additional benefits for my baby which includes everything even dental coverage. Shouldn't medicaid cover for everything for me and the baby?

A friend suggested bankruptcy I live in New York, I need advice from people who have been there themselves what are the pros and cons of filing for bankruptcy... I've been considering getting into drop-shipping, where you buy from the wholesaler on a sale-by-sale basis rather than ordering stock in bulk.

The thing is, what would happen for instance in the following scenario:

- Customer places order with me
- I place order with wholesaler and product is dispatched
- Customer cancels order / does a charge back on his credit card

In such a scenario would I lose out? Is there anything I can do to avoid this risk?

why are houses that are on the market for foreclosure so cheap? is there something particularly wrong with them? also if i found a foreclosured house on yahoo real estate in my area that i was interested in, how do i contact the agent without having to pay online to sign up? is there a way to just find out how long the house will be on the market and if it has been sold yet?

I am going to have a lap band done in mexico. Is that covered under our medical deductions for federal return? Second part would it be better to deduct it off taxes or use that pre tax money. The cost of the procedure is 8000. I have heard you can only get 5000 pre tax. Just wanted to see finacially which would be better. the 8000 and all my other medical things far exceeds 7 1/2 percent of my salary. thanks in advance.

Help! I just started the process to rent an apartment. After I wrote the check for the deposit (which is of course non refundable) I went online and saw that the management company for the apartments has absolutely horrible reviews. It doesn't look like I can get out of renting the apartment at this point without losing the huge security deposit. How can I protect myself over the length of the lease?

There are so many foreclosure and for sale signs in my immediate neighborhoos .. folks are tring to get to get out of mortgages they can no longer afford. i was wondering if this is actually agood time to buy properties? since the prices seem to be a little cheaper and buyers want to unload at almost any price. is it worth taking a financial hit now and hoping to resale later?

we both have worked this year i recently had a baby on aug 29 and he wanted to claim the baby i disagreed . he thinks if he dosent claim the baby i should give him a cut for tking care of the baby because we both do .
