Hi there, Yes you may. Signup on their website first of all. When a payment is made into your account it will appear when you log into your account. Simply then go to eBay, find the item you want to purchase (make sure they accept paypal haha) and then proceed to paypal, login etc and make payment. The only downside to this is that you may have £10 in your account and buy something for £6, leaving you with £4 just sitting there. Personally i'd add a bank card to your account so that if you do buy anything again in the future you can buy something for say £8, with £4 coming from your paypal account and the other £4 from your card. I buy and sell on eBay all of the time and i do trust them with my details. Just make sure you have a good password :)

It is such a very bad idea to give access to your bank account for an online order. Are you at least sure this is a legit site?

There are so many horror stories of companies debiting accounts multiple times.

They want the name that is on the account. I also agree that giving that over the phone isn't a great idea, can't you use a credit card.

Very foolish move indeed. You have no idea whose hands that info will end up in. I can think of absolutely no internet site where I would enter my bank account info. NONE!

Probably a nickname for your account. Something that you can remember, like the name of a football team, hometown, or where you were born. Or your real name for their shipping department.

If you are paying through your bank, they only need the routing number and your checking account number which you find on one of your blank checks.
