I want to check my credit score for free but when i get to one that says it is free i have to enter credit card info.Is there one that I can go to to get the report without entering credit card info.

go to www.freecreditreport.com or www.annualcreditreport.com. you can always go to the credit bureaus websites and get them that way too. You can get a free report every year. It will tell you if you have already done it too.

you get one freebie per year, no charge. But I think that you must show a credit card. But this doesn't get you a credit score, just the report that shows you whether someone else is tapping in as in identity theft.
The only way to get a free report is to apply to buy a house, and get a copy of the report with your FICA score.
There is no free lunch.

You can get your credit report for free at the websites the first responder listed above. However, your credit score is not free and you will have to pay for that. Usually its around $5.95 to get your credit score from the credit agency.

AnnualCreditReport.com is the site set up to get your free annual credit report from each of the three credit bureaus. It is the only site that will not require you to sign up for monitoring services. The credit reports are free but you have to pay for the score ($6 to $8). There are no sites to get free scores.
FreeCreditReport.com requires you to sign up for their monitoring services. You get a 30 day free trial but it is extremely difficutl to cancel. People frequently think this is the free site due to the name.

You cannot check your credit score for free...you can get your credit report for free once per year from

Credit Scores are provided by a 3rd party company called Fair Isaac Corp (FICO) and you are required to purchase it.

I havent found one yet. . be careful theres one out there that will will say theres no charge but will sign you up for mo/ service to watch your credit for you when you put your info in.
