Mcdonalds, Best Buy, Circuit City, Cleaning company, service station in general. If your looking for something in your field check the job boards and guidance councellors office. You might also want to see if you can involved in a paid internship depending upon your major and year in school.
Additional source of income might be ROTC but not the first year. You can also apply on campus.

When I was in college, I worked for the special events department (where they do on-campus sports and other events like concerts and shows). I was a ticket taker and usher--very boring but you do get to see free concerts and all the games. And they only want you on those particular days. You could also do bartending or cocktail waitressing or work in a nicer restaurant as a server.

There are two great types of jobs for college students who need to make a reasonably large amount of money in a small amount of time and prefer to work nights and/or weekends: waitress/waiter and bartender. You might also find jobs working in call centers, hotels, resorts, or any other type of service industry that people are more likely to need on the weekends.

Mall jobs, record stores, video stores; these places have higher traffic Friday through Sunday and are more likely to hire someone part time for those days.
