I am 30 years old and my employer matches 50 cents on the dollar. I make a decent salary but have a lot of school loans. Currently I put 2% in. Maximum is 6%. Does anyone have any recommendations based on my age.

I have 1 years worth of business education and no experience. Please help!

I already know about career builder and monster and stuff like that. I'm basically asking what types of companies are in need of data entry. And no, I can't type 133 consistently, but I can type 90 consistently.

I am working on my budget and I wanted to know what the general public thought was right.

I have always heard that your house payment should only be a certain percentage of your income, but I can't remember what it is...

Anyway...What percentage should all of your payments, meaning debt, bills, house, etc... take up. What is a good situation, an okay situation, and a bad situation?

A new super Wal-Mart store is being built right up the street from where I live. They are still in a big construction phase and have not even paved the parking lot yet. They just finished the outside of the store and are about to move on to the inside details. I know it may be like a month or more, but how would I go about getting employed at this particular location, before they even open? How do I get one of those early "set up everything" jobs, and continue on as a worker after that? I'm pretty sure they have an application online at their website, but I doubt it would list a new store being built. Suggestions on how to go about doing this? I was considering wanting to work in the Electronics department. I have lots of experience in sales of consumer electronics of all types, so that should give me quite an edge over someone just applying 'for a job'.

I accepted to be dormitory matron of 2 adjacent buildings without knowing the hardships of the responsibility. Now, I feel that the free 2 rooms w/ CR & kitchen I occupy not enough to compensate for my efforts. I also do the collection of rent and record keeping for the two buildings. I have a fulltime job so I do the matron work before and after my fulltime job. I enjoy the work but I need more basis for asking additional compensation. Please need your advices regarding the specific duties & responsibilities of a full time or part time dormitory matron.

Also, if you have worked for yourself for years how should your job experience be listed? For example, my husband has been a sub contractor for years and has done work for several different construction companies. Should I list all of those in the job history section or simply state he was self employed and use those companies for references? Any advice would be helpful

I'd like to open a simple online store so that I can sell my items which I'm currently selling on ebay there instead. The ebay fees are cutting into my profits too much so I'm looking for a webhost that charges less than £5 ($10) a month. It must have a shopping cart, payment options and a sitebuilder so I don't have to use html. Also I don't want to sign up for a year so the £5 would have to be for one month on a 1 or 3 month contract. Ideally, I'd also like a free domain name and a 30 day money back guarantee.

It would be great if someone could let me know if there's a site out there for me. Thanks

i have 2 credit cards, which is actually im not paying it anymore i think for about 7 months, cause i dont have money to pay it, i lose my job and its hard to find work nowadays, i have a savings but its only enough to sustain my everyday living,im getting all the letters from the bank, as well as attorneys letters but im not opening it, cause im kinda scared dont want to read what was written on it, and they would even come to my house now to ask for the payment which gives me this nervous, now it builds me a paranoia, anyway my question was, is this all attorneys letters are true? and is it true that they are getting materials like house cars just as a sort of payment for the credit card?and is it true that they would report it in the bureau of investigation for u not get clearance or would they give u case regarding this?as of now i cant really pay my credit card.what will i do?i know i know this is a lifetime problem, what will i do now?

I have paid off my credit cards. I now have around $2000.00 a month on hand. Will I be better off paying off my mortgage earlier by adding this extra payment or putting that money in a 401K type of plan that my employer has. If I stick to the plan I will have my house paid off in 9 years and saved a ton of money in interest.

I am looking for science jobs in research labs, so in most of them there is some level of risk.

I usually ask if there are any relevant safety concerns as one of my end-of-interview questions. I want to know how to approach this without seeming like i'd be a wimp or un-coopertive, or worse yet like i don't know much about OHS.

Mostly it is a "just checking", and a bit of sussing out if we are "on the same level" with outr attitude to work safety, but also if i got two offers and one was a bit dangerous more dangerous it may be a deciding factor.

The main things i am concerned about are Radiation and human tissue (i'm mopst scared of HIV). I would preffer to work with an employer with an overcautious attitude to both. I would not completely rule out a job that involved one of these, i just want to make sure it is very well controled (e.g. no sharps used with un-screaned human tissue).

I usually mention i don't have a radiation licence in an FYI manner.
