My grandma has like 150-200 Cemetary plots...and my mom needs to get her teeth fixed which costs about 4000$, and I need a good car to get to college and back everyday I saved up some money but its not enough for a good reliable car.

So my grandma said she would be willing to sell some of the plots to help us out.
They are located in New Jersey.
How much do you think they would go for?
And are they hard to sell?

I'm trying to consolidate all my high interest loans and credit cards into one monthly payment. I currently pay over 600 dollars a month. I need to borrow 12,0000 to do so. I have fair credit and have been current on all my payments for the last three years. I have tried prosper.com it is a fake. I had two listings and even tried to join a group. Not even one bid. I have been employed for three years on the same job. I don't understand why I keep getting turned down. If anyone has any info please help. Thanks

My wife started working part-time at Target nearly a year ago, and since she's been there she hasn't had *any* federal or state taxes taken out. Ever. She makes less than $800/mo gross pay. When she filled out her W-4 form, she had put "1 - married". (She didn't claim "exempt" or anything.) Her paystub clearly shows "1 - married."

This doesn't seem right. I would expect the lower the number of exemptions she claims, the more taxes they would take out of her check each month. I don't encounter this with my full-time job. I claim "1 - married" and I have a lot of taxes taken out of my check each month!

Is retail different or does it have to do with her lower income? We're going to call their corporate office to learn more, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

they say it's the "kiss of death" job, everyone that has had it before has gotten fired, I want to move up in my company, but do I want to risk my job. The position I have now is pretty low key and with the promotion, I'm got to be out there dealing with customers, sales people, co-workers and the President and Vice President of the company. I have to give them an answer today and I just don't know what to do...HELP!!!

I got an offer for 20% more than my income now, and I def need the money bad, but the thing is, I'm comfortable here and I really don't want to leave. I suppose to get a raise in 2 weeks but they won't tell me what for. The max at my job is 3-5% and that's only 2000 more than what I'm making now. I spoke to HR the other day and the only thing she told me is that my raise is a lil under 5000. What the hell does that mean? A little under 5000 means that I would have gotten a 10% raise, and I know that's not the case. Is she lying just so I can stay. If they do give me 10%, I would be willing to stay, but they can't disclose my increase. I would be pissed, if I stayed and I only get 3% which is what I believe I got.
