Also, if you have worked for yourself for years how should your job experience be listed? For example, my husband has been a sub contractor for years and has done work for several different construction companies. Should I list all of those in the job history section or simply state he was self employed and use those companies for references? Any advice would be helpful

My husband was a sub contractor. This means he wsn't really "employed" by each of these companies. Several of the references are in fact, home owners

Is this resume for you or your husband . List all the companies and what functions you or your husband did for these companies . also let them know what you are looking for as well . there are some excellent website on the net for cover letter writing and resumes . just do a search . type in the search box ; writing cover letters . good luck .

just skills in one sections. then few companies and times.
