Before considering nursing, I'd suggest that you take a good English course first. Simple spelling errors (afrucan) can mean the difference between life and death when treating a patient. Many drugs have similar spellings and even sound similar but can be lethal if the wrong one is given. To be a nurse, you have to be able to write legibly and without any errors as the next nurse on duty will work from your notes. Therefore, if you make a spelling error, the next nurse will treat the patient according to that error.
