I have been asked to do a SWOT analysis for a company called National Deposit - (www.nationaldeposit.co.uk). They are a friendly society providing financial products and services.
Please could anyone help with identifying weaknesses and opportunities?? They are FSA regulated, and offer services like health insurance and growth bonds.

To do a proper Strengths and Weaknesses to the Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis, the first thing you need to do is perform a profile on the company's competitors (analyzing their strengths and deficiencies), the company's clients (analyzing their needs and characteristics), and then do a profile of the market (identifying factors that may affect the company). You would then need to perform an analysis of the company's current level of effectiveness and capabilities as well as it's competitive strengths and weaknesses.
First off I couldn't fit all of that information on this forum. Second you can't do that kind of analysis just from looking at a website. Third I'm not doing all of that work for free!

Visit their web site to find out what exact bunisess they are in.
Then find out how they compare against other similar companies, eg. check out how they are structured (share price, dividends etc) and read the Company Reports.
