I blame myself and society for this, and here are the stats: 28 years old, mediocre law school GPA, no internship/clerkship offers, licensed to practice law in an area with too many lawyers (I suppose this is true everywhere). I have been working for a legal temporary agency for the last two years and nobody seems to want to hire me. I find it hard to market to potential employers. People have advised me to get out of there, which is what I have been trying to do!

I would really like to work in public service, such as county attorney, but all the offices keep saying no. I am starting to believe that I am not worthy of anything except carrying mail-my previous career before law school. I was very good at it but was underpaid and underappreciated. Still, it seems like staying there would have been the wiser choice than spending time and money in school for a profession that probably won't ever receive me beyond the bar passage.

Hi
I have been at my current job for about five years. I was supposed to be promoted in January. however no I am barely hanging on with a thread and I am close to being fired. My boss confronted me with a list of issues, most of which were false. There are a few that I am guilty of, but I made these mistakes because I was not given appropriate information, and there was no way I could know!!!I was also reprimanded violating policies that do not exist. I have evidence to prove that they are lying..a witness and written documentation. My witness was forbidden by my boss to ever speak to me. If she does she will face reprocussions. I am being accused of things that I didn't do and company polcies seemed to be being invented. I am really in trouble! I think that the company is in finacial difficulty and they can afford to pay be. My witness has access to all information and will attest that I am being falsely accused. WHAT do I do? WHAT can I do...who can help me. Help

There was no damages, however i was denied the entire amount of my deposit because the owner claims it was not dated. Moreover i did not receive this claim more than 30 days after i left; and I my 30 day notice was never rejected

In the year of 2007 I lived in a Kansas, however in the middle of that year I moved back to my hometown in Oklahoma. When I moved back I lived with a family member. I do work and I am wondering if I can put the address that I lived in Kansas before I moved back home to Oklahoma. The family member I live with is using his own household to file his own taxes. Can I use the address in Kansas, or will it raise a red flag for the IRS, b/c I live and work in Oklahoma and I put down a Kansas address? Or does it not matter at all, as long as I file faithfully?

I'am currently in debt big time due to poor financial decisions that I have made in the past. For the past several months, I have been living on a budget, but because I have so much debt that I'am paying on, I barely have enough money to live on and saving money is almost impossible. A large chunck of my debt consist of 3 revolving accounts (credit cards) and two personal expense loans that I'am paying on as well. The total debt from those accounts is about $20,000. Besides having to pay on those debts each month, I also have a $600.00 monthly car payment, cell phone bill, a $200.00 monthly auto insurance premium, and I pay $525.00 per month for rent (I currently live by myself). If I didn't have to worry about my loan payments and the credit card payments, I would be in much better shape and would be able to actually save some money. WHAT COMPANIES OR AGENCIES (if any) could possibly consolidate those 5 debt accounts for me into one monthly payment (I have a Fair credit score b.t.w.)?

so what ive read is lenders normally use the 28/36 ratio.
the 28 is the max amount for house payment taxes and insurance.
the 36 is for all debt plus housing costs...

what if you have no debt how will they determine what % of your salary can go to house payment, insurance etc. can it be higher than 28%...
what is the higher end for this ratio. How can I calculate approx how much i could qualify for?????

Over the course of about three months I went on a desperate auto loan shopping spree. I was trying incredibly hard to get approved under my own name with only a year worth of credit history because I have no willing/able co-signer.

I've recieved about 20 inquiries and my credit score dropped over 50 points from the original 730 I had, bringing me from excellent credit to between fair and poor.

Now I know that people usually say that you should stay away from "credit repair" agencies. However, I feel cheated to have these inquires draining on my credit report for the next two years when I've been responsible with my credit cards as I don't have a single late payment and I usually pay off half my debt or more every 2 weeks.

Please advise.
