Go here http://www.paycheckcity.com/ and enter your info. It will give you a rough idea of your take home pay.

$1248 a week? every 2 weeks? a month? for the year? And are you single? married? any dependents?

It makes a huge difference in the tax. And the person who said you'd be eligible for EIC is assuming that's your income for the year - otherwise you wouldn't get EIC unless you have an eligible child.

Take the responder's advice who said to use paycheckcity.com - it will have you fill in all the info you didn't mention in your question, and give you a good estimate.

You are going to get all of your tax withholdings back. If you are at least 25 years old and this gross income of 1,248 is from earnings, you will get some Earned Income Credit as well.
