I signed for a car loan for someone with the agreement they refinance and put loan in there name after a year
And remove my name from the loan when we signed for the loan the other personas credit was bad so i signed first and them second on the application. My name is not on the title as co owner or second secured party. THE person has tried to get a loan supposedly but was told the car is not worth what they owe on it . And supposidly cant get a loan. THEY have been making the payments but i want my name removed it was just to help them establish good credit, I have a signed document of them agreeing to refinance and remove my name . What can i leagly do ? to get them to look harder into finding a credit union or bank that will give them a loan and get my name off of it.

My manager didn't honor the contract ie no medical insurance 50/50. He doesn't like to pay for materials that I use either.
Yesterday when I asked for money for materials he stopped the van in a hurry and looked for noises. My co-workers are nasty, one even arranged a phone call on Friday who was an imposter of the recruiter, saying that he was going to cancel my visa. This is because this guy is unqualified and horrible to everyone. He says "I'm the devil." and things like that, and tells me I have no life. The other new worker, says I'm in a ganster network all around the world and brushes her eyebrows with a toothbrush!!!! Yesterday the international people where I work said they don't like my company very much (neither do I!!!)
Im just about to "burst" with how I feel, as I've been holding it all inside. I'm almost too upset to work today.
Yesterday the auditors were in and the international guy was giving me such a hard time saying we're paid double anyone else, etc.

Landlord had her old atty draw up a notice to quit which states that money received after Sept 1st will not be accepted as rent. blah blah blah... Today received an email from landlord stating that she now has a new attorney and gave the name and number for my attorney to contact him. (My atty is away so I can not ask him anything)

Does this mean that the Notice to Quit is now Nul and Void because she has a new attorney? I really need help on this one, she is making my life miserable and she knows that my atty is away and I can't do anything!!! She also hired a Property Manager and had him move into my apartment ALSO ILLEGAL, and also took all the pots and pans and tupperware and hid them so I could not use them. This all started because my stove died and she said she was not going to replace it after 2 wks of arguing with her I finally called board of health, and she was ticked but after a month I finally got the stove and then the notice to quit letter. I live in MA

Some of my Hispanic "friends "say that because i wear hollister , abercrombie taht im either gay or trying to be white even though im mexican. They say i should dress like a "real" Mexican which i really think is stereotyping.Do you think that liking the preppy look makes me less of a Mexican? Also I am proud of my Latino heritage and I would never deny it.

The old resident moved away but just receive a Vehicle License Renewal Statement (which amounts as a vehicle tax). I have no clue where the person lives or how to get in touch with them. It seems they did not forward their mail with the post office. What do I do with this piece of mail?
Does writing "return to sender" actually work with the USPS? And is that really how it works? My knowledge of this procedure comes from that oldies song "Return to Sender; Address Unknown" -- Other than that I'm without an idea.

I stamp the back and use a deposit slip. It seems people don't know the name of the store they're doing business with or something... I don't get it. Why would people leave the "To:" field blank? It happens on a lot of checks.

I do work for several small firms. I have a small firm that tends to pay slowly (I am supposed to be paid in 10 days but for them it's usually 30), but I've always been paid over several years. I do good work.

Two months ago I sent them a large invoice (about double the usual) because of doing a lot of work in a short time. After 53 days and about 4 reminders by email and phone, they finally paid me only 1/ 2 that invoice, saying they were waiting on some payments themselves. This never happened with them before.

They still owe me1/2 of that invoice plus two later invoices.

Having received a half payment a week ago, I don't even know how to start this conversation about payment with them again. At least they haven't asked me to do any more work in the meantime. They owe me several thousand.

Any ideas? Should I just give wait and give them some space, or what can I say or do or try get paid again before too much longer? Thanks for any help.

The guy (Matt Murphy) who caught the record breaking homerun ball that Barry Bonds hit had to sell the ball becuase he could not afford to pay the taxes that they would levy on the estimated worth of the ball.

My question is it fair that the person who went to the game, got the ball isnt able to keep it becuase he is an average Joe. Why wouldn't they just tax him on it when he sold it. either way they get their money and it would alow him to keep a part of history for a time. The way it worked out some rich guy who would have been sitting in a luxury box if he was there now gets the ball.

They want to tax him now for money he doenst yet have saying they are estimating the cost, but if he did pay the taxes on it then sold it for more later I am sure they would tax the difference.

My husband and I were involved in a lease to own situation. The other party backed out early and gave us a buy or lose. We were not ready and so, my mother in law helped us out. Her name is on the loan, but all the money (down payment) and the payments come from us. We really need to get this into our name. We don't have good credit and our down payment was taken when we purchased. We were told that we could get a "refinance" loan without having to purchase the house from the parents as we have been making the payments. I am not finding anyone who understands this thinking and I need help. We have an interest only adjustable rate first and regular fixed rate second but the rate is very high. I need to consolidate and take over both loans.

They can certainly pay the rent, but they are almost choosing not too. They are now 15 days late and are acting like they don't care that I may threaten with eviction. I get the feeling they want me to evict so they are relieved of the lease agreement and aren't responsible for the remainder of the lease. They wanted a shorter rent when they moved in. What can I do in this situation? I'm in a college town and already have tenants signed on for next year. It will be extraordinarily difficult to get tenants for a 6-month period before the next group.

Thanks in advance.

I seek your advice and expertise in regards to a subject matter that I know very little about; protecting an idea. I have conceptually revolutionized an aspect of marketing for a particular televised sporting event. It is with high hopes that I can transform this vision into a reality. I cannot further allude to what I have thought of and, for this reason, would like to protect my idea. (In a sense own the rights to it.) Perhaps a copyright or a patent is in order? While I could not tell you the difference between the two, I am certain there does exist a strong dividing line. Which would be most appropriate in this instance and how should I proceed to protect this notion of mine?

Furthermore, once I have rightfully obtained ownership of this concept/ marketing strategy, how might I go about selling it? Obviously it would be necessary to establish contact and ultimately a relationship with the firm, but what approach should one take?
