If you owe child support and have received an inheritance, the state can seize your account to collect back child support. Child support is based on all your financial resources, not just wages.
If your financial situation has improved because of the inheritance, your child support may be increased as well.

Are you talking about a trust fund or money that currently belongs to someone else. If the money currently belongs to someone else right now, it cannot be taken. If there is a money reserve in a trust fund or something, I'm sure that the lawyers could petition to the court to get that money for past due child support.

Of course! They can take anything and everything that you have! If you have come into a windfall, expect it to be taken. At least you'll be current on your obligations.

i am not sure about in wisconsin why dont you contact a lawyer? in ohio they cant.... but there like i said i dont know but maybe you should have paid it and not gotten behind
