I'm 17 and I had an interview at a clothing store on 9/13/07.
The interview went really well and the interviewer said she really liked me and that she would definitely call me back.
When should she call me back?
If she doesn't, should I call her?
I really want this job and I am getting kinda nervous that I'm not gonna get it.

The whiole story:
We were seperated 2 years ago. I signed a quit claim deed and gave him the property shortly after. He re-financed the house without me on the loan, I no longer lived there and we are now divorced. They ran the title BEFORE the quit claim deed was filed since my ex sat on it for some time. Earlier this year I received paperwork re: the foreclosure of his house. I was named as one of the defendants. In that summons was a copy of the new mortgage agreement with him as the sole borrower. I filed a response with copies of the quit claim deed and proof I was NOT a signer on the current mortgage. I WAS on the title but am not any longer and again, I was not involved in the re-financing of the house. A judgement has been made and I am still (according to the court) responsible along with his current renter. How is that possible and am I truly responsible?

Assuming the fact that you are single.

Scenario #1 : If you are in 55k’s income bracket and you take a certificate course, which cost you, $1200.00 (you pay out of your pocket) would you get educational credit tax break when you file your tax? If yes then up to how much you will be reimburse?

Scenario # 2: As a single (no dependents) will you pay more tax if you dont take certificate course?

Please reply. Your time and help is greatly appriciated!

In May of this year I paid all my bills as normal. Well, the money that I used to pay has not yet (nearly 5 months later) come out of my checking accounts. The payments I have made with the months afterward have all come out, except for the credit card I have through my bank. On that one it seems that for the months of May and June, and August they have not come out. Has this happened to anyone else? Would it be safe to now (again, nearly 5 months later) add that money back into my check book, since it has not come out? I don't want to call the companies to ask about the problem, because frankly I don't want them to notice if they haven't already. What would be the best thing for me to do at this point?

My boss is a total B@!tch but I still can't work up the nerve to give my 2 week notice. It's nerve racking because it's just the two of us here. I'm not scared of her but why is it so hard to work up the nerve to get this over with. Any tips and/or advice. Thanks.

p.s. I already have my letter of resignation typed up.

Can anyone please help? After a recent conference, I was refunded my travel expenses. The refund was made to my bank account however I have been contacted saying that the payment was made twice in error and that there will be a payment recall. How does this actually work at my bank? Surely they cannot just refund them without my authorisation? I never realised that the payment had been made twice and I don't have the funds available to pay it back at the moment. Where do I stand? Thanks in advance!

What do you think would be better. My husband and i have $8700 in CC and Line of credit debt. WE want a lower payment than the $400 we are paying.

A)Keep paying $400 month on CC’s & Line & use taxes to pay them off.

B)Get $8700 Low Int. Loan pay off CC’s & Line & use taxes, at least $5000, 2 fix basement. Loan pmt $285

C)2 loans totaling $10,000 pay off CC’s & Line use remaining ($1300) to fix basement. Pmt total $378. Use taxes to pay off 1 loan ($2000) have at least $3000 left from taxes & pmt after that is $225

Additional Info.
We had a flood a couple years ago and our basement was finished we had to gut it and have wanted to have fix it ever since.

The work she's going to do is worth much more than £20 a week, but she's very honest and anyway doesn't want to get in trouble with the Social. Any advice on how I can bump up what I pay her without her either getting in trouble or feeling as though she's doing something immoral? (The work involved is only for 2 weeks)

Recently - I received a visit from the town for my shed being to big, having a 4' freestanding pool with no permit, etc. Mind you - all of these charges were found to be a 'no grounds' - so I'm ok with that. What I want to know is - which of my neighbors did this. I don't want to hear to 'just let it go and cut any losses and aggravation speeches' - I'm not built like that. I need to know and feel I have every right TO know? Any help would be appreciated.

Every time I submit my resume to a company via their online database I get a message saying that my resume will be stored for 6 months to a year so that they can contact me if something they have matches my skill set. However, I've never been contacted for an unsolicited position (one that I specifically did not apply). I have a hunch that employers rely on new submissions to fill new positions (rather than scanning their large banks of resumes) and that one has to keep applying for positions as they are posted rather than waiting for the employer to match their resume to a new position.

Is this true? I'm searching for my first job so I wanted to ask those with more experience for their insight.
