We have 4 kids, my husband works 40, I stay home full time. It is not about us "Making more money, but spending less" Sit down, write out a budget. Include When are the bills due? (Most places charge extra if paid late, we save $50 a month by paying on time) When going to the store, write a list, and buy ONLY OFF THE LIST. I know with 4 kids the "Mom can I have?" items add up fast. Better yet, don't take the kids with to the store if you can.

On payday, put all your bill money in the bank, use checks or debit cards. Then check book and debit card go on lock down. Pull out your grocery, gas, spending money as cash and know once the cash is gone it is gone until next payday.

Put something into savings every check no matter what. Consider your savings as bill, the most important bill, and pay it first.

You might try re-thinking your spending habits. Cutting expenses will work just as well as increasing income.

For a two week period write down everything you and hubby spend. You will be amazed at how much money you waste.

Make a budget. List all your bills. Categorize them -- house, utilities, credit cards, food, etc.

Look at each monthly bill and see if there are things you can cut. Phone bill -- do you need call waiting and other extra fee services? Are you paying line maintenance? Cable -- get rid of the premium channels. Cell phone?

Save money on groceries by planning menus based on sale ads and using a list -- don't buy anything not on the list.

If you're looking for extra income from something online, forget it. They are scams. Either they want up front money or are collecting personal info. The few legit companies have long waiting lists and you won't get enough assignments to make any real money.

Instead what do you already know. Start your own business -- babysit, sew, cater, music lessons, ...

go to the msn money boards women in red, they do supply plenty of ideas and links that you should find helpful. With how much you work the best thing I can think of is generally look over you finances and really see what you're spending money on that you don't need.
