Tattoos - June 2007

ok i got a nice size tattoo last night, and it has bleed some i have take care of it washing it and putting the a and d on it and now there is in parts where my red looks little and my black looks littler too so

how long will it bleed for
is the little differnce in color normal
is there anything to stop the bleeding of the ink
anything else i can do to help it heal beside wash and use the a and d

any advice is greatly welcomed

Hi! i have a black tattoo on my foot which has of course faded to that greenish blueish grey colour. Rather than get it retouched repeatedly for the rest of my life, i was thinking about getting it redone with a dark brown over the black. im wondering if anyone has done this? i was thinking that the black and brown (even when faded) might result in a nicer darker colour.

I would like them big, from about the shoulder down to above my *** basically, but I'm having trouble finding a design or look that I want for them, does anyone have any ideas where I can get examples of ones that have been done or drawings of wings?
I'm thinking to eventually have something down the middle of my back too, like writing or something, and maybe some surface piercings on the wings (altho thats a way off yet)

I am going to get a black rose tat and i have the exact look I want but I wanna look at different designs for shading and other things....I trust the tattoo artist im going too and I can run my ideas by them but I was wondering if theres a book strictly on rose ink designs or a website.Thx.

well what i did was i made my gun with a tooth bruch and a niddel was that ok and of corse i cleaned it about 4 times with proxide then i put nealsporin on it but know it has burnt look its all like sowllen up and this clear stuff comes out of it is this normal and the only stuff i had was pen ink all it did was come off i just dont want it to get infected .

Welp, grading is comin up and my mom says that she'll pitch in part of the cost for me to get a tattoo done. I've been considering it for awhile, but have never had enough money. Anywayz, on to my q (I'm 16 btw). I was thinking of getting a wolf done on my shoulder blade .I was also thinking of getting the phrase "Live Free or Die" in this banner with an eagle smashing a skull on my shoulder blade. I was also thinking of getting a brown pegasus on my back. I was also thinking of getting an angel wing just above each ankle. All of these ideas mean a lot to me, but it would take too long to explain, but anyway, I had a rough past. Anyhow, what do u think of these ideas and any other suggestions?

I heard if girls get a tramp stamp, then decide they want a kid, can't be suffeciently anesthitised during labor, is this true? Something to do with a shot to the spine, and the in will leak to the spine.

i really want a tattoo next to my hip bone, but i have heard that if you have a tattoo you are not allowed to give blood. this worries me because my friend told me that even if say your child needs blood or something you will not be allowed to give yours to them. is there anything i need to know about tattoos and the health risks they involve? keep in mind i am only 16 so any/all information would be helpful, but particularly about the specific question. thanks!!! =)

I have completely recovered from anorexia. It took over my life a few years ago. It's the single most important defeat of my entire life - so far. I really want to put something on my body that reminds me of what I was able to overcome. I am very lucky, must people cannot beat an eating disorder. I want the tattoo to be something people ask about so I can talk about it and let people know that I hit a brick wall in my life but was able to climb over it. If I can help one person with my story then it's totally worth it.
