I have had my tattoo for over three years now. Occasionally it rises up and doesn't itch. It never used to rise up at all. It's only been the last two years that it does this. Does anyone have any ideas? Should I have it checked out?

Before I go in for my next appointment to finish this, I would like to know a bit about these creams? Do they really work? What are some brand names that are used? Is it common for a tattoo artist to use this on clients? Does it interfere or make it more difficult for the artist if one uses this type of cream?

I've decided to do it, finally get a tat. I'm planning on getting a fleur de lis- the sign of french royalty. Placement on my shoulder about 2in long 2 inches wide. I know the pain "depends" I do hate needles for the simple fact that the nurses can never find my vein. Other than that not really scared. I wanted to know what some people might compare the pain to. What should I expect?

I also go to professional school and cannot allow it to be seen, bleed through my clothing or allow the ointments to rub off on my clothes either

I want to know why people who are tattooed get judge in such a negative light. I have heard a lot of people tell me how stupid those people are, or how trashy they must be because of their tattoos. I think that it is just so ignorant, to judge someone because they have a tattoo (or for any reason, race, religion ect. but thats another topic). Why should they have to cover up their tattoos? I don’t see anything wrong with people showing who they are. I love tattoos and people with them! :)

My tattoo isn't scabbing, itching, and appears to be barely peeling if at all, is this normal?

I got it, on Saturday and it is now Wednesday, about five days ago.

I used a&d for the first 2 days and now I'm using Lubriderm lotion which I find I have to apply regularly or it becomes dry and irritated.

Isn't it supposed to scab, itch, and peel?

I've always wanted a tatoo, after a lot of consideration I have come up with a design that is unqiue and reflects my personality well. The only problem is that since i've been discusing it with my friends/colleagues i've heard all sorts of horror stories about the pain, that its the worse feeling ever etc.. Can people who have had one done give me an honest opinion on how much it hurts as id like to be completley aware before I go through with it.

Thanks.

Has anyone ever been to Kaleidoscope Tattoos in Leeds? Thinking of going there for a cover up, some reviews would be great.

I've heard stories about red tattoo ink heating up painfully when someone gets an MRI. Has anyone experienced this?

My girlfriend wants to get a tattoo removed really badly, this seems like a cheap, quick, and minimally painfull solution... but does it really work? and if so, does anybody know of anywhere it's used in New York City?

The tattoo's in question are two small ones about an inch in size each, black ink - but not too heavily applied and a little faded. about half a year old, done by an amature.

Thanks in advance for any help! ;)

I dont want to get my tattoo removed, im just wondering if they work? Are they completely gone or can you still see them a little? Does colors matter? I heard black doesnt go away but the colors do?
