My girlfriend wants to get a tattoo removed really badly, this seems like a cheap, quick, and minimally painfull solution... but does it really work? and if so, does anybody know of anywhere it's used in New York City?

The tattoo's in question are two small ones about an inch in size each, black ink - but not too heavily applied and a little faded. about half a year old, done by an amature.

Thanks in advance for any help! ;)

I think she would risk more scarring having someone use this product than laser. You have many competent laser specialists in NY and being black and as you described, it seems it would not need too many sessions.

My personal opinion is that laser removal sessions are scheduled too close together - probably because the clients are eager for results. I would double or triple the recommended spacing between removal sessions MINIMUM and you will find she will need less of them. Seriously.

All the liquid "home remedies" don't work.
Laser treatment will cost you a minimum of $100 a session
and you will have many sessions, some lasting a year or more. They are more painful than a tat, and you will have a scar in the shape of your tattoo.
Why not just get a new tat to cover the old one?

No, it doesn't work. All those tattoo creams are scams.

If you want to remove a tattoo, the best way to do it is laser removal. It hurts, and it's expensive. But unless you want to literally cut the skin off her body, it's the only way.
