The 1st one: Mostly because I wanted to measure my pain tolerance for bigger tattoos, but it's also a design that had meaning to me.
2nd: It's a motto that sums up the attitude I have to have in life: "Luctor Et Emergo" (Latin for I struggle and I survive)
3rd: It's a design with a significance that isn't really that obvious, and keeps people wondering - which is a faithful reflection of my own personality! lol
4th, which I haven't got yet: A tribute to one of my heroes, Bill Hicks: "It's Just A Ride."

each person has their own reasons. Some, to pay tribute to someone or something special in their lives. Some as a rembrance or memorial to one who has passed. Some for the art, some for a million other reasons. I have different tattoos for different things in my life. And, I plan on more.

Because I've been through a lot in the last 6 months that really took a toll on my emotions, and just changed me forever as a person.
So I got something to represent what I've been through, so I can always remember where I came from and to not lose sight of that.
...if that makes sense.

Yes, I want a small one as a memorial for my sister who died a few years ago.
I think tattoos should be personal and mean something, not just something to cover your body with for no reason.

i want a tattoo because they are a piece of art and they always have a story to them. and they are always something that you can look at and remember where you got and hat it meant to you and just remeber everything about that time you got a tat.

Truthfully, because I like them. I only have one right now and one in the works that I should be getting really soon. (within the next couple of weeks.)

i have a tattoo on my lower back, its angel wings and in the middle it has my babys name in it! the reason i got mine was because when i had my baby the birth and some difficulties and she almost died so i got her name in angel wings
