me and a friend our trying to give ourselfs homemade tattoo's. We made a gun, but we wanna know what kind of ink to use. My friend said pen ink, but i think that will give you ink poisoning. Also, i know i'm gonna sound like a total noob, but how do you put a tattoo on. When we did a test i tried doing a line, but it ended up a bunch of dotted lines. I need some tips, lol

I know that permanent makeup is a type of tattoo and the one thing that I've always wanted was a slight dusting of facial and neck freckles (I think freckles are cute). I'd figured that freckles done by that method would be nothing but a scattered collection of lighter beauty marks so I wonder if it's possible. If so, where could I get it done?

My "brother" passed away in 2003 after returning from Iraq in a motorcycle accident. My family is pretty much your ultimate USMC family...mom was a Coastie though. Each side has a pretty lengthy military service. Now..I want to get a nice back piece for him but, then I'm torn with the idea of doing a full back piece to honor the entire family.

For him : His ribbons/medals, badges and just have it surrounded in writing "in love memory, etc"

OR, having something like this done...tons of work, I know. Just change up the uniforms and toss in a few branches.

I’ve always loved tattoos and I’ve had one when I was seventeen. I’m married now and have a son, and I’d love to have his name tattooed on my back. My husband is not a fan of tattoos and thinks it’s a turn-off and stupid to ink your body permanently. Anyway I’ve been thinking of doing it and asked my husband if he’d accompany me while I’m having it done. He told me “If you want to have another tattoo it’s your business, I mean it’s your body, but I’m not going to waste my time to accompany you to the tattoo parlor”. I felt hurt by his comment and attitude. Am I being too sensitive about this? I mean, should I just accept that his comment is merely his distaste for tattoos? Since it’s going to be our son’s name, I thought it’d be nice to share the moment with him.

if i had a monroe piercing for more than a year and it was perfectly healed, if i decided to take it out would the hole grow up, and would i be left with a little scar or anything ?

I have had my nape (back of neck) pierced for 2 years now. I want to know if i can take out the original barbell and put a nicer looking one in? If so, how hard is it to find the holes, seeing as i cant see what im doing. Also, if i can, does the barbell HAVE to be flexible or can i put in a solid barbell?

Ok, I think I've finally decided that I'm going to get a tattoo on my inner wrist. I've thought a lot about this, and I think I like this idea the most. I'm going to get the Zodiac symbol for Leo with my birthday (8-21-82) and my name (Lindsey) on my inner wrist. I'm not sure exactly how it's going to look, but that's the basic idea of what I want. I have a colorful tattoo I'm having redone this weekend. What's the likelyhood that my tattoo artist will be able to cover the colors with black and gray (probably leaving some color showing through)? I'm of course going to talk to her about this, but I figured I'd ask on here in case anyone has experience with this. =]

Hey guys...have another tattoo question. I'm wanting to get a tattoo with my name and my son's name. I did a lot of researching and found out that both of our first and middle names are of Hebrew origin. Therefore, I'd like to get them tattooed on me in Hebrew.
