Well, sometimes it closes. If it doesn't, you're irritating the piercing, and causing the healing time to be longer than it would otherwise be. Eventually, if you irritate it enough you may wind up with an infection or severe scarring.
Please stop doing that. Take care of your body.

I have one or two myself. The first one, the ball fell off and the bar kept coming out. It wasn't fully healed so the hole almost instantly started closing. You should probably go back to the shop and have them take care of it.

if you leave it out for too long its going to close and theres a chance that it will get infected but if you just take it out to change it and make sure that the ring is clean then it will probably be fine

Changing a labret so many times will cause an infection, have fun getting rid of it, you probably wont be able to if you get one and your only choice will be to take it out.

If you leave it out for too long it will close back up. Also, taking it out & then putting it back, is making take longer to heal & cause potential scarring.

it will close if you leave it out to long. I've had mine in for about 5 months now, sometimes i take it out when i eat and when i put it back in its a little tight. so i would wait and make sure you clean it before putting it back in everytime

dont keep it out or it will close up obviously... other than that you will have a higher risk of infection and a longer healing time

If you leave it out for a long time, it will close right up on you, if you just take it out and put it right back in, it should do nothing!!

mine would always get crusty, and start to close. i had to prety much re pierce it every time i put it in. but it closes up little by little. mine closed up, and never actually healed due to the fact that im in the military, so i had to keep removing it.
