Mine is a large red crab (I'm a Cancer) that covers my entire upper back. The claws then curl up and cover my shoulders.

That sounds like a pretty sweet tat. I have angel wings covering my whole back. They are gorgeous and very detailed.

Mine is my own version of the ever popular "tramp stamp." Hip to hip, butt crack to 1/3 the way up my back. 5 1/2 hours in the chair the first time and 2 1/2 later on for a touch up. Thats the biggest, but not my favorite.

Yours sounds great. Mine is a 1"x1" on the back side of my ankle and it's the Japanese character for Dragon, my zodiac. My next one will be about three times that size in the middle of my back just below my shoulder blades.

A dragon I desigend that covers my entire upper arm, with the tail wrapping around my inner arm and the wings spread 3/4 of the way around it.

I have a full back piece. Its a wildlife scene that took several settings to finish. I'm very proud of it, however I don't get to show it much. Such a piece is done for yourself not others. And before anyone asks yes I'd do it again.

Mine's a pair of Pisces fish between my shoulder blades. I guess it's about 4" in diameter, but I havent exactly measured it (not an easy place to reach!)

Mine's 6in x 3in, constellation Cassiopeia. But I'm planning a fairly large back piece, maybe 10in x 10in.

i have a tat of st.jude in the middel of my back & i also have a dragon that starts on my shoulder and go's all the way down my side and hip and ends on my thigh
