I know that tattoo's are supposed to be personal, and I want it to be personal, but i do need some help with ideas. I'd like it to be larger and more vertical. I want a dragon design I think, but other ideas would be super helpful too. thanks so much!

I'm a young female, and would like it to be vertical. Maybe a dragon/snake i was thinking? i'd rather have it black and white. i like mythology and ancient greek history...um. i don't really know what else to say. Help! give me ideas...not cute and girly things either. i don't want a cute tattoo with lots of bright colors. I would be willing to have maybe like one or two colors besides black, but not much beyond that. thanks so much!

If you want a dragon go to the tattoo shop and ask them to draw something up for you. HOw about some coi fish or a snake. Most of the time I tell ppl not to get a tattoo if they do not really know what they want. I have 5 and wanted all of them since I was 12 and I am now 29....no regrets.

Something personal... I'm into Astrology a lot and so I'm getting my Zodiac symbol (Leo) on my inner wrist. That's pretty personal. I saw another good idea earlier on here somewhere... a charm bracelet around your wrist or ankle with different charms that represent who you are and what you like. I don't know much about you so I don't know what you like, but for example, I like astrology like I mentioned so I'd get a Leo symbol, I love to read, so maybe a book, stuff like that. I can't think of anything else right now but if I do I'll come back and post it. I hope I helped, and good luck in whatever you decide.

" I want to get a tattoo on my left hip, but I'm unsure of what to get. Ideas? " IS SCARY!
You should decide on what you want first, then worry about getting it! Don't just go get anything some stranger suggests because you just want a tattoo!
It is going to be on you forever! You will see it every day. Make sure you love it!
Choose something that really says you. Something you are passionate about!

You are not ready for this tattoo if you are asking perfect strangers what you should get...wait until you have a dynamite idea that represents your taste, your desire and says something about you...like buttrflies and freedom, hummingbirds, flowers and there are so many..daydream bout colors too before you decide..take your time cuz they are much easier to get than they are to get rid of..

im guessing your a female. not to stear you in a different direction. but i wanted to get a tattoo on my hip too. and the tattoo artist warned me that if i was to ever get pregnant it could stretch and distort the tattoo. so i went with my shoulder instead. its a great location and didnt hurt too bad. good luck figuring out something.

i think a dragon would be cool if u were to add more colors besides black and white and then u could have your name put on it that would be really cool well good luck in deciding

I have 17 tattoos!!! If your not sure of what you want for yourself, then put it off till you know exactly what "YOU" want. Give it time, & it will come to you, & that way it will be something that you' ll always be satisfied with......

Your initals..you can always 'add' to them. OR if you're set on a more graphic style pick something that you can 'add' to. ALWAYS pick at tat that you can add to. And by the way: tats are personal...they're on 'your' body..remember that one. A dragon sounds awesome by the way. You can add fire breathing to it later if you like.
