me and a friend our trying to give ourselfs homemade tattoo's. We made a gun, but we wanna know what kind of ink to use. My friend said pen ink, but i think that will give you ink poisoning. Also, i know i'm gonna sound like a total noob, but how do you put a tattoo on. When we did a test i tried doing a line, but it ended up a bunch of dotted lines. I need some tips, lol

You want some surgical instruments, too? Wanna try out a homemade appendectomy?

How about a proctoscopy?

This is about how your request registers with me. People look at home brew tattoo trash and then think of tattoos as ugly and cheap.

Get them done professionally. Home made tattoos are dangerous, can poison you and if they last don't look good at all. Trust me, you would be happier with the results from a pro! And you are correct, pen ink isn't safe at all for inserting in skin.

do ing it your self will cost you more in the future. because your not professinal and have know idea whatyour doing (no affense i wouldnt either) but me and my friends tryed the same thing (sorta) we would stab our selves and it was a stupid idea cuz i would bleed and cover it over with pen. and i had a friend who would get mad at me because i would make tatoos on my wrists over veins and like that. and if you dont do it write or use dirrty needles bad things can happen. you can get aids that way. or your tatoo would get infected and puss and discusting things will come out of it. that you really dont want. to get the tattoo you want (and for it to look good) you can sketch it on a papper (or get some one who is good at drawing to go it) and then give the drawing to a professional tatooist. small ones are usually $25 and Large are usually $50. i wouldnt know but thats what my dad told me. (we were talkin about Eminem) but get aprofessional to do it you'll have the best results that way.
Good Luck To You And Your Friend.

you need to wait til you're old enough to get one and get it done by a professional artist who will answer all your questions. where are you from? My husband is a tattoo artist out of Texas and he is very talented and VERY affordable. Most tattoo artists have a chip on their shoulders and have this rock star mentality that they are the biggest sh*t in the world. go to someone who will answer all your questions and who is definitely approachable..

I'm not gonna give u any advice as to how to do it yourself because you're just gonna end up having to go to a tattoo shop later in life and covering it up. just be patient and wait. if you DO decide to do it, do a small one somewhere on your person and by all means use as much precautions in sanitation as possible

obviously you are doing this because you are either too young to get a professional one or you are trying to keep your costs down. either way there are tattoo suppliers with guns and ink of various colors. . . they also have practice skins so that you can get the technique down before going to your actual skin.
I've known a bunch of cats that did it homemade. . . good luck.

pay to have it done. Unless you feel like stabbing yourself a bunch of times until you spell out the word dipshit across your forearm. That or unless you want to look like some retard with down syndrome just kicked your *** with a tattoo gun.

First, don't do it, it's not a smart idea. Secondly, pen ink doesn't working.. it eventually just pushes/goes off of your skin. You should just find a homie that'll do it for free or get a professional to do it. Don't be stupid and do it yourselves.

You guys can really make yourselves ill just using all kinds of stuff to give a do it yourself tat. Just get a job, save up,get a real one. If you're not old enough, then wait. It's not worth risking permanant damage,or being ill over it. Dirty needles can give you all kinds of sicknesses you'll have for life.
