Is this choice of plug for someone who intends to stop at one gauge and stay there?Is there any way to take it out easily?

BTW Is there a cataglory for piercings?I could only find tattoos...Thanks!

Hey folks, I plan on getting my first tattoo tomorrow in commemoration of the publication of my first novel (of a graphic that is central in the book). On the 4th of July (11 days after) I'm going to be outside a little, perhaps doing a little wakeboarding with some friends. I'll keep a shirt on and wear lots of sunscreen (and hopefully not fall, haha), but do you think that it's too soon, with regards to the tattoo fading?

My husband has a large tattoo of a flaming eyeball on his upper arm that he wants covered up. What is the best way for it to turn out well?
Also, what is a good spot for a female to have a tattoo that is easy to hide but can be seen when you want it to be seen? (And won't be affected by future pregnancies!)

I do not understand this argument. People keep saying "Well, when you're 70 it will be all wrinkly and funny-colored."

No, that's not your tattoo. That's your skin! And your skin will be wrinkly and funny-colored at 70 whether you're tattooed or not. Let's face it: every 70-year-old on the face of the earth is ugly.

Well, that's not true. Ruth Gordon was beautiful. But other than that.

Will someone please explain to me the logic in this? I mean, if you've got to get old and ugly, why not be old, ugly and colorful? What difference does it make?

Frankly, I'd rather be colorful. That way I remember how colorful my life was.

Maybe that's it. Maybe only colorful people want to look colorful. And boring people just have nothing to say.

I'm 16 and am getting my first tattoo this summer. I've had a rough past and have dealt with depression,ocd, VERY low self-esteem,bullying and crazy fights with my mom(sum of which got the police involved) for 4 years and I've finally had enough!I;m seeing a therapist, taking meds and working on my inner self and I finally feel like me again.. Everybody is telling me what a change. I wanna get a tattoo of an angel wing just above each ankle to represent freedom from my past and being a free spirit. I looked at sum pics and I love it, but does anybody have any other pics and what do ya'll think of this idea?

it has to be a really clean place and im only 16. any where on the north side.not too far from Rogers park.i dont think that the Tattoo Factory does it without your paren's permission.

I am getting my first tattoo, I am 21 years old and finnaly decided on what im going to get.
I will be getting an anchor about 2 inches big or smaller, I wanted to get it done in a black out line that fades to grey then bright blue.
it will go on my left foot on the lower left corner inbetween my middle and pinky toe.
what do you think of the size placement and colors?
How much pain is "really" involved, compaerd to something else.... IE I have had cysts on my overies burst, I have had a broken leg i walked on for a week, I have ahd an industrial piercing.
Do I need to wear flip flops or something similar?
What kind of healing time am I looking at?
What other things can I do to help it heal besides what the artist will already tell me?
How long till I can go swimming in a pool, ocean, or lake?
What about showers?

My friend Miriam has been with me through think and thin! I could not ask for a better friend. She is like an angel to me and i love her so so much.She is always there for me and she loves me to.
I wanted to get a small tattoo of her name on the inside of my left wrist just before my hand.
I have read lots of friend quotes but there always too long or cheesy.

My fiance and I were thinking of tattoo ideas, and we are stumped. We have ideas, but we want to know some of your guys and dolls to make sure that we like ours. Haha. Yeah, we're lame. ANYWAY,

I am getting a tattoo of a bat on my back (see pictures below of where and of what I know its not centered but it will be) I got it airbrushed in Santa Clara and I fell in love with it. i have 1 tattoo on my arm, and my tongue pierced. Neither time did i feel any pain when i felt the needle. and whenever i go to the doctors office, i always want a shot. I think i like needles. Am I wierd?
