I'm having a mental block and suggestions would be appreciated.?

Question

I am getting a tattoo of a bat on my back (see pictures below of where and of what I know its not centered but it will be) I got it airbrushed in Santa Clara and I fell in love with it. But I'm not sure if I want to add more to it to make it a little more femenine or not, I know the tattoo is for me and I'm not doing this for anyone else I'm just having a creative block and need some suggestions. I AM getting the bat part no matter what and the bat part will be all black

I love magic and fantastical creatures, my favorite flowers are Tiger Lilly's, Star Gazers, and Roses

i love bats but are you dead set on getting THAT bat? because it's just very one dimensional and plain. if i were getting a bat tattoo i would give it life and make it in motion. my artist did a tattoo of a bat that was awesome. i say you should get one done in portrait style. there's no reason to have mediocre tattoos when you have so many talented artists out there that can make your skin look phenomenal.

ooh, scratch that flying. i would get one hanging upside down with it's wings spread.

My first suggestion is find an artist that you love to do the tattoo. You may be having a "creative block" but they have incredible ideas. Set up an appointment for a consultation and see what designs they come up with! My second suggestion is look at some websites to get some inspiration. There's some awesome tribal designs our there you could add that could include your favorite flowers, then use that simple design from each wing of the bat to your shoulders. Have fun! But once you get one, you'll want more!

Get like the flower tattooed first in the colors you like and have the bat in the middle like on top of the flowers. I wish i could draw up a picture to show you, but this laptop doesn't have my program on it. Or you could just get the bat in black, it looks really cool just the way you had it.

I like it the way it is. If you add anything, it may take away from the bat. If you really want to add something, maybe a little branch by the feet with a flower in the colors you like.

I think it looks fine the way it is. You don't have to fit every aspect of what your life into 1 tatoo, especially if it's not going 2 be your only 1. What you're going to add to it just depends on how big you're willing to get it. For a bigger piece, my personal opinion is that you should probably get it as a partial sleave or on your back. That all depends on what you're into tho. It's kind of a hard question to answer, not knowing you.

the tat is great! the tiger lily and the color green suggest that you can turn your life around. I always wanted a tat of a two headed snake on my palm with the heads on my fingers. Don't turn to the darkside. psychic energies are still on your side.
