RE:
Cute tattoo ideas for a couple? Matching or words. PLEASE READ!?
My fiance and I were thinking of tattoo ideas, and we are stumped. We have ideas, but we want to know some of your guys and dolls to make sure that we like ours. Haha. Yeah, we're lame. ANYWAY,
We were thinking of getting lyrics on our wrists. Anyone know of any cute/romantic lyrics that might...

Tattoos are a great way to express yourself, but I'd be a bit concerned about the professional ramifications in the future of having a visible tattoo on your wrist. A shoulder or a hip or even an upper arm would probably be easier to conceal while wearing work clothes.
As for what you should get? It should be something personal and meaningful to the two of you. Maybe you could figure out something together that you feel represents your relationship in a positive way. There might even be a cool symbol or figure in another language that says what you want it to say. Click on the link below if interested in finding out more about the Chinese characters; they have a whole list broken down by subject or idea and it will show you the symbol for each.
Whatever you choose, good luck, have fun, and make it unique and about the two of you!

i love the idea of getting tattoos with your mate that aren't names, like an inside joke or secret :)
i would recommend waiting until after the wedding. i have seen too many engagements broken up at the last second due to random crap, not to say that you will, but better safe than sorry! that and you don't want to have to worry about properly taking care of a new tattoo with the whole wedding thing (especially if you are going somewhere "beachy" for your honeymoon).
the best tattoos are the ones that have unique meaning to the people, think about your inside jokes, or pet names for each other, a favorite memory. something that would be special to just the two of you.
or you can always go with some classics: hearts, puzzle pieces, key and lock, important dates, etc...

I'm not sure how romantic it is to get random lyrics suggested by a stranger on the internet tattooed on you...
It's YOUR relationship. Surely you gets have memories from which you could draw inspiration. If not, you're not ready to get the tattoo.

My fiance and me are going to be getting Sparrows like the traditional kind after we get married. We are going to get them in reverse colors of the others. Red and Blue. The Sparrow symbolize Comeing home and finding your true love! We thought that would be perfect because we did find our true loves! I would look from something like that. Something that has a meaning like this!

I always thought getting the mizpah coins, with the saying included done with my husband and I. But, I doubt he'd do it, lol.
However, maybe your fiance will. I am planning on getting the scripture from the mizpah coin done though. Its beautiful.

My fiance has a star tattooed on bothe his shoulders, like on the front part of his shoulder. I am going to get the same stars on the front part of my hips. It sounds corny, but I like the stars and every time I see them on me, they will remind me of him.

How about the song "How do I love thee", it is from a poem. It is very beautiful and kinda a Romeo and Juliet theme.
Here is a copy of the poem...
HOW DO I LOVE THEE?
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being an Ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,--I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!--and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
~~Elizabeth Barrett Browning~~
