It will probably heal in about a week. But you should wait two weeks just to be safe :-)

About the same as a big tattoo. 2 to 3 weeks.

You should wait until the healing process is over to swim again (no more peeling, no more itching, etc). And when you do, you should wear a strong SPF (30 or higher) on your tattoo to protect it from sun damage.

I have a star tattoo at around the same place and it took about a week to heal. Wait around a week and a half to two weeks just to be safe, before you go swimming.

Hope this helps :)

Cassie T has it right........listen to her.......just clean it often and put some moisturizer on it and it will heal as fast as it is possible.....not 5 days, and you don't have to wait months to get it in the water.....just use your sunscreen.
