They are going to start selling the ink this summer. It is made by a company called Freedom-2. They have not yet developed the laser that will remove the ink, but it is in the research phase by a company called Candela. You can check out an article about it here http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/homepage/8998993795890544639

an old friends fiance is a tattoo artist and i ran into them last week and from what i know a lot of the tattoo artists have this ink, but they are still a bit warry about using on clients. i know they have it (they are in michigan) but are just kinda trying it out on family and close friends at the moment. i would just ask around to the tattoo parlors you plan to go to and find out when or if they plan to get it. it's always up to the tattoo parlors if they carry a certian product.

Cassie is right - it is now due to release in the fall but we shall see. The jury is still out on this one. We have sent them many questions of concern that they ignore or have no answers for.

This has been in the development stages for years and they keep extending the release date.

the only thing i know to tell you is dont get a tattoo that you cant live with the rest of your life. why would you go through the pain of getting a tattoo that you would even consider taking off?

It's still in the development stage, and is not yet working as intended from last I heard.

For the time being, tattoos are still very much permanent.

Hopefully never...you shouldn't get a tattoo that you don't plan on keeping forever. That's the point of a tat!
